Nice video man. My question is regarding shooting with an IR filter, which I have tried myself. How do you nail focus with it as focus is different for infrared light? A vintage lens with red IR markings is one way I guess. But focusing and then putting on IR filter on with a modern lens doesn’t work due to the IR needing different focus as I said. 👍📸

      Thanks!
There's a couple of things with the IR filter. Yes, the wavelength is different and won't auto-focus, so you HAVE to manually focus. I use the live view and digital zoom to nail the focus on the hyper focal point. With that, over-expose just to get the focus, then dial it back for the image.
The second part is because you're in for a long exposure (unless it's really bright), set the aperture to minimum f/7.1, but maybe go to f/11. That way, even if you haven't quite nailed the focus, there's a bit of wiggle room.
