@panoz360 I had my timing belt and water pump changed at 105,000 mile. I had my valves adjusted like 2 weeks ago. i get a oil change every 3,000 mile or every 3 months. what ever comes first. i get it changed on the weekend but last time i checked no oil leak but i'll check again. thanks man!
@purplenoise2002 i had a valve adjustment done but the noise was still there. it turns out that it was coming for the bottom of the engine. my mechanic told me that its the rod bearing and not to worry about it. I decieded to save up money to buy another car before it get worse.
because untill your oil pressure in engine stabilizes and your rod bearings get decent pressure to act as a oil film bearing,so just ignore these sounds and use your car normally.
Well.....I went thru a puddle of water and started making this noise come to find out it was out of time and my top end sensor was bad......ur valves r ok its ur bottom end of ur engine
i took my car to the shop and the mechanic told me its a rod knock. he told me not to worry about it. he said its normal for hondas. i dunno.. its not as loud as before. i try not to pay attention to it.

Sounds like noisy valves. My car sounds somewhat worse (although it has 205k miles) They should be adjustable. It's about 100$ depends on the shop
so what happened to the car?
It's a valve, you where probably rolling with low oil
@panoz360 118,000 miles

Los C I sold the car last year.
My 2001 Honda Accord EX sounds just like that,
has your noise gone away
What is the cause of this.....
Sounds like valves need to be readjusted or you vave the dreaded rod knock

Nothing is wrong with this engine,it is normal for honda engines to make these sort of noises when they are cold.
Normal cold engine noise that hondas make.
It sounds like the crankshaft
