Morgan's monologue is so heartbreaking but I'm so glad he knows that everything he's accomplished is because of him and his determination and strength. Great reaction as always dude!
If you rewatch earlier episodes that involve disgusting creeps that do stuff to children then you notice the way Morgan acts towards them. There is a personal hatred towards them cause he knows how much those children suffered/suffers... At least it made me reflect more over his actions after finding out what he went through as a teenager.
Probably one of my favorite episodes. The performance from Shemar Moore (Agent Morgan) is spectacular. Shemar Moore said in an interview that for an African American man to admit to something like that (SA victim) is extremely rare and he felt that if he could portray it right then maybe it could help others. Which he also continued to say that he has gotten praise for that performance with this particular episode. I love the character of Derek Morgan, he is my favorite in this show and this episode just made me love him even more. I also love Shemar Moore
I suggest you also watch the episode called elephants memory it's about Reid getting bullied in high school 😢
It's a very sad episode not only for Reid but also for the unsub Owen because his taking his revenge on the people who bullied him .
And also I suggest you guys watch the episode the instinct and memorial it's about Reid childhood past and his reunion with his dad who he thought a murderer because of a dream 😢
@@JhanjhanCastilloElephants memory always reminds me of this Drama movie called Elephant about 2 bullied kids sh***ing a school. I wonder what elephants have to do with bullied kids, because like you said Elephants memory is about Reid being bullied
My first thoughts when Derek got arrested was if he did murder someone, he wouldn't get caught for it so easily.
This is one of the best episodes. We get a little background on Morgan and his childhood👍🏼
This is a rough one, but an incredibly important episode
I always liked Shemar's acting, but this episode... oh my gosh... shook. Incredible actor!!!!
This episode makes me sob every time
Some of the best moments of Morgan are in this episode.
I love your investment and how deeply you feel for the characters.
Also, fun fact: the guy who plays the horrible coach is Viola Davis’ husband!
I have watched this episode more than 10 times and i cry every time. I love this show and have a thing about not skipping eps in anything.
I love how much you love Derek. Usually we get to focus on how attractive he is (i love how you thirst after him. I am the same with Dean Winchester. Jensen is very distracting sometimes), or how much of a badass he is. Here we really see Shemar's acting chops. He is fantastic.
God this is SUCH a good episode!! I was waiting for you to react to this one and 2x15
Was 2x15 the episode with Tobias Henkel? Haven't re-watched S2 in a while so I don't really remember...
@@michelleart6593 YES!!
There are so many layers in this episode and all heartbreaking and frustrating. And Shemar did such a wonderful job.
But I ynderstand why you never want to rewatch.
Oh man, just binged this whole playlist and love your takes. This show is something else and I'm glad you're getting to experience it (even though I have sobbed repeatedly through the years)!!!!
I been waiting for u to see this ep b/c ik u don’t like ne1 messing wit ur boo!!! 🤣
😤😤😤
I rewatch the show all the time and this episode is always skipped. Once was enough
please ive been in need of criminal minds!
Happily, there's a future episode where the other inmates in the prison learn why the coach was incarcerated. Let's just say that prisoners have their own way of dealing with people like that.
spoilers?
?????? spoiler
No spoilers damn
I demand more criminal minds 😈 (as nicely as possible)
Join Patreon then :)

Then you can’t make demands! 😜
Really good episode but hard to watch. I skip it about half the time on rewatch
❤❤❤
this is one of the many episodes that i hate
As someone who went through the same thing that Morgan did, I got just as aggressive as him when people asked me about my past. Granted, I wasn't being detained, but people in general pestering me about why I am the way I am. And just like Morgan (who saved a lot of kids), I actually managed to save a kid from what I went through.
The struggle is really fcking real. Morgan's monologue kills me every time.
Travis, I hope you're okay. That early realization almost killed me more than Morgan's did.
💘
I have someone at my work who does that to me and some other people working there. It's not easy to talk about, but Morgan is right, once one kid speaks up about it then other kids do because WE aren't scared of him anymore. I've let him control my work environment, and I just can't let him do that anymore. It's gotten so bad that I actually get anxiety and stressed out anytime I have my shift.
I've saved a few kids from going through the same thing, including my younger sister. I'm 17 and my sister is 12. I'd do anything to help others, so they don't ever have to go through what me and my co- workers are going through. Most of my co- workers have quit because of him and once I find another job, I will to.
This episode has always hit home, Trav I hope your feeling better now. It made me happy to see how angry it made you, this episode really told me what type of person you are and if I were your friend, I'd be lucky to have you as a friend, you seem so passionate about what the right thing is and how you could make the other person feel better. You're a good man Trav!
This was really sad but I love this story line is given to the most macho type of guy on the show. Someone you don’t think has gone through something like that. Heartbreaking 💔
I know the cop is doing his job but he’s kinda annoying
The cop may be annoying but he did apologize (I don't know if that counts as a spoiler), because he realized his mistake and couldn't forgive himself for always going after Morgan while Bufford was hurting all those kids...
The more you were saying you were confused about things, the more I was thinking "You're going to wish you didn't know by the end of the episode."
Morgan is far from my favourite character in CM but his character development was amazing ❤ and I admire his strength and determination. He went through something so traumatic but still chose to become an FBI agent and catch criminals like Karl Bufford. So I may not like him, but I do admire him a hell of a lot.
One of my favourite episodes
