Me and my gf were caught 3 times like this way back in high school and the officers were always really cool. Just gave a be a man talk, dont take advantage of her dad's trust type talk. The cops always would let us go. Total respect for those cops.

I was doing the same thing with my boyfriend years ago when I was 16 in a car at a park in the middle of the night and a cop pulled up on us because park hours were Dawn to dusk. He totally knew what we were up to but acted just like this cop did and let us leave with no issue. Makes me gain more respect for officers

It's probably a communication technique used by police to make certain people feel more comfortable around them and trust the officer more, I've noticed it on many of these videos.
