Thanks for the video, very good job. I also made some videos there and am posting them up but they are just raw footage of walking around in/out as I don't have your editing skills! I enjoyed the day too and thought there was a lot to see. I am also in your video at one point so now I will look out for if I notice you in mine!!
Thanks for your comments, I will look out for your vids. some people just love the raw straightforward videos, editing gets easier the more you practice and find a software that works for you. Cheers Mick
Sad to see a generation of bikers fading away. The show is getting smaller each year. What will happen to all those lovely classics? The generations following have no interest.
I totally agree. I’m in my mid 50’s and was one of the youngest at the show. It would be a shame if these classics disappear. We need to get the youth into our beautiful passion for motorcycling. Cheers Mick. .
Poured down as usual. Lots of open spaces. I left to go home at 3.45. Not the best show, with horrible gate staff, who show absolutely no regard, for disabled people.
We were lucky with the weather on Saturday. Nice open spaces and there was quite a few people with disabilities. It’s a shame that the staff are not properly trained to deal with disabled customers properly. I was also surprised that there where no staff directing trafic on leaving the show. It was left for a free for all. Cheers Mick
@anythingoldmechanical Hi yeah we were very luck with the weather. Think next time we go a bit later as not as many ppl about around 2pm ish. So sorry to here about the gate staff . That's just not on. There should be absolutely more disabled access. Maybe I mention that on other events vids.
@@taffy2wheels577 I am severely disabled with lung disease and osteo arthritis. All I wanted to do was go out of the gate, and turn right to go 50ft to the bus stop. Instead, the jobsworth on the gate made me struggle with my walking stick and out of breath and go down that underground tunnel, which taken me 15 minutes to do, then I had to cross the busy main road to get to the bus stop, that wouldn't of been necessary if he had let me out of the gate. I went to the event office, and out of breath tied to explain, and they also couldn't of cared less. As I result of this, I won't ever be going back and supporting this event ever again.
@@RAD_RIDERS_UK I suffer from severe osteo arthritis and lung disease, so as well as having difficulty getting my breath, I struggle walking distances without having to regularly stop. I went to the jobsworth on the gate, and asked him if he could let me out, so I could turn right, and walk 35ft to the bus stop on the same side of the road. He arrogantly denied my request and made me hobble down that long tunnel that goes under the road. When I eventually emerged from tbe other side, I went straight to the event office to put in a complaint, and the staff couldn't of cared less. I then had to cross the busy road to get to the bus stop, that i wouldn't of had to do if he had let me out of the gate to walk tbe 30 odd feet to the bus stop. By then, I had missed my bus, and also my straight through train back to my home, in North Wales. This nasty young jobsworth, and the staff at the event office ruined my day and as a result- I have wowed never to return and support this event ever again. They don't deserve any support behaving that way to people who make the effort to go their, and even forsake their disabilities for a day of enjoyment. If I knew who organised it, I would be in touch with them, too about this.
Nostalgia is fading fast 💸
Too true 👍
