I attended the first GIR in 2000 as a 16 yr old kid and it just like opened a portal to a different world. I ditched all the Backstreet Boy and Nsync stuff and started collecting Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden albums after watching Them Clones cover "Why Go" by Pearl Jam and "Spoonman" By Soundgarden. 3:34 is where it at! The original Them Clones lineup and the best one! (atleast for me). Watching Ravi the vocalist smoking a joint on stage while performing "Spoonman" was an epic moment! This even was like coming of an age for me. Good times!

Back when Rock'n Roll saved our souls yeah!
The good old days! ❤
If Amit Saigal was still alive
Indian rock scene would have been much bigger n better
Man of vision.... Gone too soon 🤘🤘🤘
You bet! Such tragedy for the Indian rock scene. Though the rock scene died anyway since around the early 2010s.
Rip
GIR concept has been fascinated me since then... And RIP Amit Saigal..the man behind this revolution!
Is that Conrad Sangma ?
