Good video - We need more such in the face documentaries of bands trying to make a living and how they believe Rock is not dead in India - This is very heartwarming for me.
Hey so did u guys end up making the movie..nice job here btw..been listening and supporting indian rock bands from the days of agni and 13Ad..look 4wd to ur movie
Very Nice movie..! I completely loved the movie, the concept and I think it should be completed. By the way what sort of funds are required to make a small movie.. say 30 mins? Not general movie but this kind of movie.
can someone please upload the titles "saint sinner" and "soundcheck" (i think that was the name) by Orange Street? the second one is the background @5:05 in this video. Much appreciated. Thanks so much
love the concept of this video an i wish the directors wdve had more funds to complete it- sim sure it wdve been more focused and had a unified theme then.. but zindian rock/underground music has come a long long way since the making of this video...its grown in terms of quality and variety ithink....
"Rock music has held the imagination of the young , bright and rebellious in India" 4:33 " I take my mom to all my concerts .. i asked my mom maa can i wear earings? oh oh can i at least have a french beard " LOL .. yeah the rebellious "rockstars" of India
He could still have it, but not everything requires to be rebelled against, he might just want to keep his mom happy by doing and not doing a few things just out of love.
I really miss ORANGE STREET, a very original band then...Actually the first bands I watched LIVE with SPIRALS at MOOD I back in the 1996 or so... Great... I wish you had the digital recording of the album... I have a the cassette though.... Saint Sinner is still my favourite.... Great... Had met you at Times Store after a short performance at VT.... Good luck Anirban...
Yeah ok,but m not fully agreed with u ,coz u can c bands from pak r making waves in our industry .Not coz they r better but they use local lang. And its always gr8 to listen our fav bands in our own lang.Remember its music tht matters not lang
Thank God this era of ignorance is over when homophobic slurs was considered cool and these so called English speaking middle class youth would make fun of those who couldn't speak the colonial language properly. Most of these bands sucked ass anyway. Though it was good fun hanging out at the concerts for all I cared.
Please bring back the Good times.....
Please someone listen to this guy.
Rock will live for ever, EVRYWERE!
