Just discovered these guys. My god Nick is a gifted musician. GREAT drummer, guitarist, singer... wow!!
...and wrote some pretty cool songs too ;-).
This is my favorite Beard concert and group. Their on fire. I listen to this concert every week at least once.

the more I see of Nick the more I realize what an incredible talent he is!!! Not the least of which is his vocal ability... the guy could be a lead singer in virtually any band even if he wasn't a great drummer and multi-instrumentalist; I'd kill for his voice; it's both powerful and beautiful with great articulation and expression and his stage presence is getting better every time. I was wondering why Ted Leonard isn't in this lineup; he's also a terrific vocalist and sideman

Holy moley! Is this audio great or what? I’ve seen this video several times before, but today was the first time I cranked it through the home theater to hear it in full Dolby Surround 5.1. Glorious!

I used to think Jimmy was the "side drummer" but he kicks ass and takes names! That boy is a powerhouse of a drummer and a good vocalist as well...there's no shortage of talent in this band!
Spock’s Beard is a great band but is very unmanaged. There is not Official Instagram, Facebook and site are outdated and since 2021, it haven’t news about the band. This great band don’t deserves this bad threatment.

What vocal mic is Jimmy Keegan using?
Electro Voice ND468, I guess
Close! It actually had a unique model number. EV-ND468/JK. Basically, EV put a 767 capsule in a 468 casing. Tightened the pattern a bit and boom! An actual drummer’s vocal mic. They officially made 2. I’ve since returned to Audio-Technica and use an ATM-230 as a vocal mic. That EV was great though.

Meh... I miss Neal Morse.
Nick is a talented guy and he's certainly good enough to be a lead singer. He can probably sing higher than Neal could. But Neal is a tough act to follow. I like Nick's voice, I love Neal's, but there are folks who aren't crazy of Neal's voice. Any version of SB is worth listening to.
