Agreed, Air compressor will wear out, especially the pistons, which will reduce compression and mean the compressor will need to work harder to build compression. Always best to buy new compressor rather than fix old one, unless old one is not very old/low km's. Also same situation buying replacement compressor: don't buy rebuilt/remanufactured one; instead buy new one.

Hello, thank you. I did the exact same cleaning process for this same compressor, but after applying air pressure, there is a leak between the separators. What is the solution?

I have leak from my ac compressor caprice 96 I think from rubber seals I tried epoxy to stop leak I put epoxy all around this seal and it failed to stop leak I think because high pressure can I weld it with 4043 aluminum with my arc welding from outside all around seals ?
