Awesome! One thing I've been doing is using olive oil instead of butter- whether it's for roasting or using in baked goods. And focus on the in-season produce, because you'll be eating a LOT of fruits and vegetables! In Summer, that's usually zucchini, tomatoes, berries, melons, peaches... I know there are more. Usually the front page of the grocery ads will show what's on sale and what's super cheap. =)
I do one day a week pasta meal, meatless meal, breakfast meal, this aways give a good round idea's we don't go out to eat very much but try to have at lease2 meals a month that are take out of frozen prepare ones too. I alway do breakfast like fruit and toast, eggs of some kind which is so easy, muffins etc. I do have a hard time with lunch idea's. I find cooking in the fall and winter cheaper and easier because of soups, and chili , and casseroles dishes. I am glad your skin doing better too.

But it took a while with my sister too. She tried many things until they hit the right combination!
