2:21 We Romanians love Greece as a country, if you go to Gus's video about Romania, you will see that most people say they love Greece. The Greek revolution for independence began in Romania, with Alexandru Ipsilanti. In Romanian schools we also learn the history of Greece (about Ancient Greece, the Byzantine Empire, the Revolution of independence),most of us know about the Greek Genocide, Chios Massacres and other things that the Greeks suffered in history. Romania and Greece are among the most Orthodox countries in the world 98% of the population respect Orthodox traditions and Byzantine culture We consider Greece the 2nd house, a place where we can adapt easily. Maybe for the Greeks life is more difficult in Romania, because we have dangerous animals (bears, wolves, vipers, etc.) and a wind coming from Russia, Crivat The Greeks are welcome anytime in Romania, in Romania there are also hot areas and cold areas, depending on the choice. If you prefer the warm areas of our country, go to Dobrogea (coastal area) where we have the city of Constanta (after Constantin emperor name)if you prefer areas with few people, fresh air and mountain landscapes such as Austria or Switzerland, visit Cluj or Brasov, which are part of the Transylvania region (with vampires) We Romanians have the culture of the Roman Empire, that's why we speak Latin and have an Orthodox (Byzantine) religion. So for us, the closest are Greeks and Italians (cultural) AGNI PATHERNE !!
Don't take it serious. Many us Greeks like Romania, but older people especially may have a bad opinion. ...maybe because when communist regime fell in your country, many poor people came here and some of them made crimes. Still many prostitutes here are from Romania, of course i cannot judge all Romanian women because of that, but some people will do.
@@birdakasiakwvos Well, we have a population of 21 million people (including the diaspora) and a few people do not represent the majority. Most Romanians work and are worthy people. We have a minority of gypsies, but they do not represent even 15% of the population, many being more Hungarians as a minority. After the fall of socialism, many people became poor, indeed, because they destroyed jobs (factories, and other areas of industry). But there are many working people like me who have remained in the country and continued to work/study in various fields for dreams and career But as you can see in the video, the Greeks began to lose their culture and identity, many of them taking over Western ideologies (LGBT, etc.). Most Greeks who come here, support or are part of such groups. Now, Romania has a higher GDP per capita than Greece, and fewer migrants (I saw a Romanian youtuber who went to Athena, in the OMONIA Plateau, and showed that there were only people different from normal Greeks, in appearance) ua-cam.com/video/6x79N4qsboQ/v-deo.html I consider that both countries have problems. I have Greek origins on my father's side, and for this reason I researched Greece. I can say that both there and here, are many people who lose their culture and values. I respect Greek culture a lot, but I think that this country also has its problems. The Balkan countries should be united in order to progress, and become independent, not dependent on the EU or Western Europeans
@@davidlord3831 Of course a small part of the population cannot represent the whole country, i can understand that. ...but some people cannot. These people can be found everywhere and not only in Greece. Also, Greece still have higher nominal GDP per capita, but it becomes more and more expensive, while the salaries remain the same. In the near future Romania will supass Greece. Some Greeks now are starting to move to Bulgaria for paid jobs, and in the future some will move to Romania also. I'm also sometimes thinking to move back to Denmark from Greece, if in the near future be able to afford an apartmant in Copenhagen (i don't want to be on rent anywhere, you just struggle to pay expenses and not make any money). Also now in Athens if you want a relatively new apartment in a good neighbourhood, you will give at least 200.000euros, while the gdp per capita is 18000 and the loan cost is 1/3 at least of the money you borrowed in a 20 year period.
@@birdakasiakwvos The worst thing for Greece is the fact that they switched to the euro currency. We Romanians still have the traditional currency, and the prices are different from the rest of the European Union. For example, 5 euro=24 RON, If you know how to look for good food, you can eat well with little money all day.You can find the cheapest prices in stores in Bucharest, but not in the central areas, but in the middle areas towards the periphery. However, the center is very small, only there are more expensive prices. As a student, you have access to a free train, subway and buses in Bucharest ,for example. If you study and get a scholarship, and you also work occasionally you can make a lot of money. I spent 718 euros on a laptop, and I don't work, just my father work, my mother takes care of my little sister, and dad work as interior designer, construction domeny, and little architecture . As a student I raised money from the scholarship I got from school, and a little help from family, but most of it was my money Romania is a cheap country, where you can start companies and businesses. In our country the prices are a bit more expensive than in Russia or Bulgaria, but still they are cheaper than Greece or most of the European Union. Romanians who leave the country, do it to raise money and then most of them come back. After building their houses, they buy cars and other things. I consider that in Romania you can have everything, if you want to work Bulgaria is cheaper, but it is more abandoned than the country. They have reached 6 million people, and the villages are empty. In Romania, if you have the money, you can do many things and opportunities. Because we are a new capitalist state, the whole industry was destroyed after the anti-communist revolution. Many foreigners come to Romania, but to invest here. In Transylvania, many Germans and Austrians came to buy our traditional and abandoned houses

The English have a proverb, "When Greek meets ..., then comes the tug of war". If you ask it as a multiple choice, and the missing word is a. Italian, b. Turk, c. Brit, d. Bulgarian, e. Greek, very few will guess the correct answer, which is e. Greek! This is historically true for all 5,000 or so years of history. Greeks quarreled and fought with other Greeks even as early as in the ... Trojan war (the Iliad started with a feud between Achilles and Agamemnon), and even in the middle of the Greek Revolution, 1821-27, in 1824, there was a civil war among the Greek revolutionaries! And after Greece became independent in 1830, the infighting continued, the excellent Governor, a greek who used to be the Foreign Secretary of the Czar, was assassinated on a Sunday as he left the church, and the Greeks decided to bring a foreign king (first Otto, a Bavarian, and when his queen could not have children, another Danish-German, George, in 1863).

Romania and Greece are among the most Orthodox countries in the world 98% of the population respect Orthodox traditions and Byzantine culture
We consider Greece the 2nd house, a place where we can adapt easily. Maybe for the Greeks life is more difficult in Romania, because we have dangerous animals (bears, wolves, vipers, etc.) and a wind coming from Russia, Crivat
The Greeks are welcome anytime in Romania, in Romania there are also hot areas and cold areas, depending on the choice. If you prefer the warm areas of our country, go to Dobrogea (coastal area) where we have the city of Constanta (after Constantin emperor name)if you prefer areas with few people, fresh air and mountain landscapes such as Austria or Switzerland, visit Cluj or Brasov, which are part of the Transylvania region (with vampires)
We Romanians have the culture of the Roman Empire, that's why we speak Latin and have an Orthodox (Byzantine) religion. So for us, the closest are Greeks and Italians (cultural)
AGNI PATHERNE !!
But there are many working people like me who have remained in the country and continued to work/study in various fields for dreams and career
But as you can see in the video, the Greeks began to lose their culture and identity, many of them taking over Western ideologies (LGBT, etc.). Most Greeks who come here, support or are part of such groups.
Now, Romania has a higher GDP per capita than Greece, and fewer migrants (I saw a Romanian youtuber who went to Athena, in the OMONIA Plateau, and showed that there were only people different from normal Greeks, in appearance) ua-cam.com/video/6x79N4qsboQ/v-deo.html
I consider that both countries have problems.
For example, 5 euro=24 RON,
If you know how to look for good food, you can eat well with little money all day.You can find the cheapest prices in stores in Bucharest, but not in the central areas, but in the middle areas towards the periphery.
As a student I raised money from the scholarship I got from school, and a little help from family, but most of it was my money
Romania is a cheap country, where you can start companies and businesses. In our country the prices are a bit more expensive than in Russia or Bulgaria, but still they are cheaper than Greece or most of the European Union.
Romanians who leave the country, do it to raise money and then most of them come back. After building their houses, they buy cars and other things. I consider that in Romania you can have everything, if you want to work
Bulgaria is cheaper, but it is more abandoned than the country.
I love Romania and your music. It is on my travel list.

And I liked musics of Greece, I like their accent when they speak. I have never been in Greece but I know we have many similar things. Food, music, culture, nature, even buildings. People of two nations loves each other (of course there are exceptions as in all nations). Politics, especially American politics love to give harm to countries. We see what's happening in Ukraine, American weapons are established all around border of Russia. And it started a war. Now America is planning same situation between Turkey and Greece. There will be two losers of that war. Turkey and Greece... No matter who is stronger, no matter who has more support. And the only winner will be weapon dealers. I wish these stupid politic leaders stop this bullshit and let us live in peace and friendship.
