ACCORDING TO KAPIL SIBIL 62.4 CRORES(80% OF EMPLOYABLE AGE) ARE UNEMPLOYED, AND ONLY 15.6 CRORES ARE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED. I DONT THINK A SENIOR ADVOCATE WITH SUCH REPUTATION WOULD DO SOMETHING DISGUSTING LIKE PADDING HIS NUMBERS. and last I checked there were about 6 CRORE employees working in PRIVATE SECTOR and about 2 CRORE working in the PUBLIC SECTOR. about 17 CRORES of NEW EPF (EMPLOYEE PROVIDENT FUND) accounts were opened in the last 10 YEARS. I just recollected the name of that fund. plus about 30 CRORE MUDRA LOANS are given in the last 10 YEARS. so if you add up 30 + 17 + 6 + 2 = 55 CRORES OF OUR POPULATION ARE CURENTLY EMPLOYED OUT OF WHICH 47 CRORES ARE RECENTLY EMPLOYED IN THE LAST 10 YEARS.
