I love this song so much... it literally breathes what my heart feels. My relationship of 6 years with the father of my child has been so rocky and now he’s seeing someone else and my heart is just broken in pieces. It’s still complicated as we both still love each other, but we never could get back to the way things were in the beginning after a few unfortunate mistakes were made and both of us suffered so much.. now we live off of lingering looks and hugs that last for 5 minutes.. I’m not dating yet because it wouldn’t be fair to the other person and honestly he shouldn’t be either, but it’s how he’s coping. It hurts to see him, and to remember the hopes we had for our family, and to bare witness to them falling apart. That pain just doesn’t seem to fade. Although hearing this song makes me cry, it also confirms that I’m not alone. So it’s a heartbreaking comfort. Thank you so much for this song, Rosi. It’s beautiful in every way possible.

It's mind blowing how I downloaded the song and just felt it was the perfect fit for the end of a chapter of my life, but never guessing the official video would be about the exact same thing.
