have one with me. For it's price, its worth. lot of features...easy interface, I love the 120fps.
What Focus settings did you use? My camera won't do that. I film aircraft and it usually struggles to find focus and very often goes out of focus while tracking the subject. I've tried multi point AF and tracking AF.
Steve Allison Use single AF with Continuous tracking. In this clip I simply kept the bird in the center of the frame. Also consider the AF Response and Shift settings. You can change the sensitivity to interruptions of your subject with them. Also try different sized boxes and apertures, depending on the lens you're using. Lower f-numbers (like f2) will work the camera harder than a something like f8 due to the larger number of corrections needed to keep your subject within the narrower DOF.

wow, actually looks strange watching a moving subject with a out of focus background.... it did better than I ever could even with the best EVF.
Ray Bradlau Can get even better results if I'd used a tripod, and tracking AF.

Mario Vaiana Two main places it lost focus, when the bird crossed its path closer to the camera, and up by the trees. First can be fixed by changing the AF Response setting, second one by actually using Tracking AF and not Single AF. That was my next test.
