- One of several we recorded recently - another in the series I have done on piano accompaniment in jazz. Compare this with the other instrumental version I have done recently on my kawai baby grand . This vocal version was in 4 flats while the instrumental version done in the more usual key of F(Dm) • 'Come Rain or Come Shi...

As usual very, very good. This song is harmonywise not so simple and you perform it in a fabulous way.
I'm working with my wife (a vocalist) on this song, and the turnarounds were driving me crazy. I have 3 different lead sheets, all with different changes. But what you've done with them simplifies things and makes so much sense (the others had a string of sliding dim 7 chords or something like that). So glad you did this song! I have your DVD and the transcript is so helpful (my wife also sings it in this key--the Ray Charles key!). Now all I have to do is learn to play like you and I'll be fine. :-0
@wadecottingham She has a wireless system - she can hear herself, the piano and the backing transmitted back from the H4n via a transmitter to 'ear-bud' type 'phones. I have connected my 'phones directly to the H4n.

isn't it about time you 2 made a CD so that us fans can listen to you both any time we want even when the "net" happens to be down (like it is here in italy once in a while)???? if you already have one with the vocals i would like to buy it, but i didn't see anything on bushgrafts about a vocal CD----
You have headphones to hear everything, but what was Michelle hearing? What was her monitor? Trying to understand your comment 'only hear the piano in the phones'.
She didn't have headphones on. I don't see an in-ear monitor. What am I missing?
