TLDR: I recommend subbing Mirran Banesplitter for Sticky Fingers So I've been playing this throughout my climb within Platinum, I'm 11-6 so far (starting at Plat 3), so it's going well overall. One change I've made that I'd highly recommend to others is replacing Sticky Fingers with Mirran Banesplitter, still just a common, but it is a flash artifact that can help a lot, giving +2/+0 at instant speed for 1 mana, able to pump the Automaton's unexpectedly, and can be sac'd by the Smelter if you need to go wide or don't want to pay the equip cost after it falls off a creature. If the board gets clogged, you can also attach it to a Gingerbrute in order to get 3 damage in per turn with Gingerbrute's invasion. I dropped one Riveteer and both Sticky Fingers to fit 3 Banesplitters in and its been fantastic. Thanks for sharing the deck, I've really been enjoying it!
One other update. I just took it into the Standard Event (first to 7 wins or 3 losses), I was 1 point of life away from getting the 7th win, but I didn't top deck the Epicure or Gingerbrute sadly to get that final point of damage in. But still 6-3 in the standard event with no rares is still pretty darn solid. Thanks again for sharing the list! @@casualrob
Needs more of a variety of matches against better decks. I don't think this deck would be fun at all if you run into the high and even mid-level decks that tend to dominate the Arena experience.
That's what happens with Mono Red decks... You either win or concede and move on after. The format changes at the top teir and these types of decks are more to balance things then to actually win tournaments they sneak wins when better decks get bad draws and thats basically it.
I made one card switch and have been having a good time with it. Just took it 6-3 in the Standard Event (it was 6-1 but I just couldn't close out that 7th game, had my opponent to 1 life but didn't get the top deck I needed). So not too shabby.
@@EnderoftheGame - good. My issue seems to be that this deck is REALLY dependent on a certain draw, and is very hard to stabilize if you don't get that draw.
Nice budget deck! Super fun to play🎉

Part 2 when?
How is this against the mega heavy hitters like white humans?
