Thank you for your support, dear colleague 🙏🏻❤️🌹I’ve started to share writing games here ua-cam.com/play/PLusN5it-gM7tDhc961_lLRxTAztu4FCN9.html&si=Q9lyQJRXPufjZanG I will try to share more! 😉
Yes, indeed it can be quite a problem for complete beginners. But if they know a few words in a few categories, you can try it. Just give them a few examples before the game, they will grasp the idea.
While looking for suitable variants for creating new words, students will brainstorm a lot of vocabulary. For example, in the category School Subjects it can look like this. Students: “Ok, let’s start. Maths and Literature - Literaths. Ok? What else… Maybe, Music and Geometry - Musometry! ☺️☺️☺️Hahaha! Great! Let’s go on! One minute is not over! What other school subjects do we remember? Economics and… Computer Studies! Yes! Let’s make….Compunomics! Great! It will be difficult for the other team to guess”. And when 1 minute is over, the teams will present their newly created words and try to guess what two words they include. And thus the revision will be reinforced again. By the end of the game with 7-8 categories students will revise around a hundred of words and just in 10-15 minutes And they will not feel bored a single moment! 😉
What a great discovery this channel was !Loving all the activities and eager to put them into practice!

What's the point of this game?
There are no words like the ones you suggested.

Don'twantto be negative, but this game won't work positively. It might bring students into confusion later on. Possibly, better use different games.
