It seems the young voters have more sense than someone who lives to be old enough to become a Senior Citizen voting for Trump and learning nothing after the years of living.

@VotingGreenIn2024 Ranked choice voting and campaign finance reform (AKA get rid of citizens united supreme court ruling) will get us half way there. Politics is nothing if not incentives. Change the incentive structure, you change the political system.

We have fundamental , structural issues in this country that has led to the situation we have now , voting for the lesser of evils. Now we get to see it blow up in our faces. @@IsaiahsAnythingShow We very much can vote our way out of this situation. Voting for Biden, is voting for the status quo. That means, if Biden were to win things would largely be the same as they are right now 4 years from now. Then the question becomes where do we go from there? To be honest, I don't have a great answer, however, I do know that the path forward from that point will be a hell of a lot easier than if Trump were to be elected.
Trump is good at diagnosing the problems with our system, the problem is he does not offer solutions. His "solutions" are blow everything up, fire a bunch of people, and install his own version of the swamp. And that's to say nothing of his categorically disastrous economic proposals (tariffs, etc). If Trump is President, it will be very hard to fix the problems with our system if the system is even more broken than it is now. Oh yeah, and the idea of a younger version of Alito and Thomas on the supreme Court is absolutely bone chilling.
@@paskowitz if Biden were to win the public will be complacent for another four years and come to an election of voting for the lesser evils like we have been doing for like ever ? People will feel ‘safe ‘ if Biden becomes president while we watch the government slowly screwing all of us over , especially younger people ie our debt situation, currency devaluation , lack of affordable housing.
The whole system needs to be overhauled so trump blowing things up won’t really be the worst thing. Most of them are having financial problems because of the poor economy, many are working, some with good jobs but finding it difficult to get by because of inflation, college tuition is too expensive for many, forget student loan forgiveness, most dont qualify, rents are so high some are living at home. This is the worst time in the last 50 years for US citizens 35 and under. There are no candidates or anyone in office either party that they can relate to, the age/generation gap is too great. This describes the 10 in my family, ages 18-early 30's and they have voiced this many times the last 3 years.

What so funny is this is not how I, or any of my friends see society currently, and we are this demographic. This is the antithesis of how I feel and I’ve never been more motivated to vote.
