- Those of you who follow my channel will know mobility is something I need to work on greatly so I tested GOWOW for 30 days. I have heard a lot of great things about this app so thought a trial was well overdue.

This app has been an absolute game-changer for me guys so I highly suggest checking it out, lets all get ridiculously bendy. 😊
I'm not the most flexible person, but I make sure to stretch after a workout. I see so many people skip stretching and just go home after working out. Nice to see you doing consistent mobility work. Stretching is highly underrated.
NIce one stretching after a workout can often be the hardest time to stretch when you're tired. The older I get the more important I believe stretching to be for sure. 😊
Thanks for posting, excited to give this a blast.
Yes mate, its a long time later and I still Gowod everyday. 😀
Great video. Mobility is something been neglected by me for a while. Definitely everyone should work on that 💪🙌
Yes mate, this app does make it super easy to get in every day. 😊
Great review Pete! Definitely improvement in your mobility! I was finally able to load it on my phone(yeah, had to update my phone before I could use it). They go over all the areas properly that you need to worry about for exercising and have a good grading for it too, not too many options and not too few. I took the test, just to see what they would say where I'm at and it's exactly what I would have thought. Just my posterior chain @ 75%, total of 95% =) Kinda glad I stuck with some stretching over the years, has made getting to this point again much easier. The sitting down on chairs just wrecks havoc on our posterior chain. One area they don't test, is your neck though, which can lead to problems ie: tingle sensations/numbing from lack of blood flow/nerve impingement, tension headaches from muscle tightness. Although, generally shouldn't effect any exercises though.
Wow, 95% you are a GOWOD mobility god. 😂
@@PeteOnPurpose lol..........what would it mean if you have even great mobility than what they test for? =) hehehehe
@@ddpwe5269 Haha, the app gets named after you?
@@PeteOnPurpose lolz, where do I sign up? hehe
Excellent review there Pete, looks worth having init 🤘
Cheers David, I love this app I just wish I had started using it sooner. I might be able to touch my toes soon 😅
@@PeteOnPurpose 😂
People are always underestimating the importance of mobility and stretching.
Yes mate 100% how is your mobility?!
@@PeteOnPurpose meh. It is so so. I stretch more than most, but not as much as you do lol. My main stretches right now that I have been focused on revolve around correcting shoulder impingement. I try to stretch my legs out well on the days after leg workouts though.
@@FatherhoodAndFitness haha I don’t feel like I do that much but it never seems to be enough these days! I really rate this app though takes all the cues work out and basically tells you what to do. We are moving next month so I’m going to join the gym and start deadlifting I may be asking for some tips soon. 😀
Nice video. Very informative
Cheers mate, i still use it everyday now. 😀
What workout app to you recommend? Debating Hevy... or RP Hypertrophy.
I have not heard of either of those apps? I really liked the Morsia app as well as Push by Joe Delaney. I am currently using The Pump app by Arnie which is also pretty good. I hope that helps.
Just started using this app and had pretty much the same results as you for the hips and thoracic. Be interested to know a year+ on if you still use it and what your current mobility is like?
Hi mate, yes I still use the app pretty much everyday for 22 minutes, I havent redone the test in a while so I dont know how much I have improved? Definitely dont get any back or hip pain like I used to, so I continue to use it.
@@PeteOnPurpose good to know, thanks for the reply
What is the most flexible car
The Mercedes Bends😍🥰😅
Haha that’s brilliant 😀
I’m gonna give this a try, been doing ROMWOD for a year and it’s getting pretty old now.
Oh cool, I’m considering trying out RomWod when my subscription runs out though I’m not quite sure the difference? Is romwod just daily flows to follow?
@@PeteOnPurpose RomWod is a type of Yin Yoga that targets different areas of the body each day in 20 min or so sessions. Except Thursday’s “warrior routines” that take about 45 minutes. I’ve been enjoying it but it repeats a lot of the same poses and the hold times can feel ridiculously long being over 4 minutes for just one pose or stretch sometimes. It’s worth a try for sure but I’ve been wanting to try GoWod for a while now.
@@bowen704 oh interesting it sounds like Gowod is better for me as it creates flows targeted towards your specific needs. Cheers for letting me know 😀
Can you do the test by yourself or do you need someone to help?
Yes mate, you just need a card to measure distance from the wall.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE 🎃🎃
Hi Pete I bend Down to pick up my dirty clothes and put them in the washing basket 🧺 so on the bendy side I’m doing pretty good
Love the videos as always 🎃👿👻🤡👺
Haha sounds like you are very flexible 😀
