Nowadays Calgary is the only major affordable city in Canada for current and future generations Canadians and Immigrants. Calgary has the fastest growing tech, finance and film industry. I am already seeing some of my friends and family members who work from home are moving to Calgary. Calgary is also world’s cleanest, and most livable city. Calgary is also sunniest ☀️ city in Canada 🇨🇦
Clean in air and water and many things, yes. But definitely lots of litter compared to some European and Asian cities.

If your gonna visit calgary don't goto forest lawn, oak ridge,(bowness at night) or Marlborough unless you wanna run into wannabe thugs and get robbed with bbs guns and bear mace 😂😂 everywhere else if fine though seton is really nice and so is beddington really safe neighborhoods you can walk outside pitch black alone and feel comfortable anywhere as i used to do it all the time in calgary especially downtown its so nice at night

Calgary has an average daytime temperature of -7.1°C in January while Chicago is -3.2

There were extremely few people walking in the streets. Is Calgary a city where everyone drives or was this special circumstances?
Mostly people walking inside , there is a good system of connection between building so you can walk from one building to another without coming outside specials when it's so cold. And also mostly drive.

It's modern, not beautiful. No outdoor landcaping Architecture and gardens, the skyscrapers are all square glass boxes! What's the beauty in it? Your suburbs are beautiful!
I think there is “beauty” in the incredible architecture of Calgary. Christopher Reeves even commented as much when he was filming a Superman movie in downtown Calgary in the early 1980’s! I worked construction as a high rise plumber pipe-fitter, so I am a bit biased. At least three of the buildings I helped construct are featured in this vid. You are right though, much of what makes Calgary “beautiful” is the many parks and tree lined boulevards throughout the city.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps you need your eyes examined? 🤨

Does the City turn off the lights of office buildings at night when birds are migrating? Is there still a ton of dead birds at the foot of the buildings in the mornings? The bird population is dwindling and powerful lights left on at night is a major cause of the problem, along with hunting, oil tailing ponds etc etc.....the birds migrate using the stars and moon and are confused and derailed when blinded by these things....City of Calgary, please take a lead from other cities in North America and turn these damned lights off at night!!!

We are talking places where half the train stations not only have bathrooms and restaurants, but 30+ platforms each. Calgary May be big for Canada but no well travelled person, in my opinion, would accurately consider Calgary as big in population. Just in area.
