My best friend passed away this past March...I miss him soooo much! We were friends since we first met in high school, 9th grade. I still can't believe he's gone. It feels like I lost one of my own limbs. Cherish your friends...don't lose your friendship over silly arguments...remember what bonded the two of you together and learn to FORGIVE each other. I just lost my sister 11 months ago. She was one of my best friends there when I needed her and times when I thought I could make it alone but willing to help. My other sister is 4 1/2 hours away and hard to be far away. Sorry for your loss.
My best friend for over 25 years lives back in my home town of Fairbanks Alaska and I am currently living in Florida. We are almost 4500 miles apart, it's hard for sure. But we make it a point to talk on the phone every day, video chat and visits whenever possible. I am a mom of a 7 yr old boy, my schedule is crazy hectic. It does get easier I promise, it just takes more effort to keep your closeness. But always well worth the effort 😊😊
My best friend for 10 years also lives in Fairbanks Alaska, I live in Utah. About to start college while she is on her senior year in high school. I agree that it’s worth the effort to stay close :)

I moved four and a half hours away from my best friend when I was in 8th grade. I was so upset that I cried for months. My best coping method was talking to her on the phone as much as possible. We miss each other like crazy and eventually we grew apart a little bit. After a while my mom decided to move us back to Nebraska and away from Denver and I got my best friend back. We've moved apart many times and we've always managed to keep our friendship. If it wasn't for social media we probably would have lost each other though. My best tip is to just stay in contact anyway that you can as often as you can. And make an effort to go see each other because if you don't you simply won't see each other anymore.
Ugh as soon as you mentioned the wood grain pattern I immediately thought of the smell of trees and I think it’d be super cool to do a more masculine line of soap that have like spruce and cedar wood scents 🤤🤤 I love the smell of those essential oils.

this pouring technique makes the most beautiful outcomes, the swirl really looked like clouds over a water surface to me. If you ever did that with sunset or sky colours, it would look amazing, I think.

It does make it very hard being so far apart and then being on different time schedules. We always make it a priority to at least message or email each other daily and talk on the phone once a month. We send each other random cards, gifts or a video message when we can. Those little things mean the world and keep us connected. Try to maybe set up a time that's always for you two. Even if it's 30 mins. You guys deserve it and owe it to your friendship. No matter what it is you two end up doing make sure to always appreciate and cherish it.

EEP! I cannot wait for this to come in the mail- after being a "silent watcher" for years I have just purchased my first royal soap and it was this flavor! I love that it is BFF inspired, so sweet! It also sounds somewhat like "Sweet Caroline" which is fitting considering I am from Boston and we DO in fact run on Dunkin... and Caramel Swirl is one of the best!! My best friend and I moved away for college. We ended up going to different universities, and that put us 5 hours away from each other. We always keep in touch. We talk on FaceTime almost every night and that sure does help with the distance. It sucks having to be so far away from her, but we still manage to keep in touch. It’s amazing whenever we do get to see each other cause even though we don’t spend a lot of time together now, we still manage to get in the same amount of trouble as back in middle school. Good luck! I know it’s tough having your friends be so far away, but they’re always there with you, no matter what, and that’s what’s most important 😊💕 PS I love all of your soap vids! I just got this soap today and I'm soooooo excited to use it! It smells so amazing and cutting it was so smooth and amazing. I got to see a bit where it hadn't fully discoloured in the middle so that was really interesting!

She moved to Athens about 20 years ago, moved back to IL for a couple years then back to TX she went. I finally moved here 3.5 yrs ago, but I wanted to be near the ocean. We only get to see one another once every 5 - 8 months. I totally get the separation heartbreak!!
I saw the video title, clicked and saw the soap was coffee based, opened your store website and didn't even finish the video before ordering a bar of this. I'm a coffee-scent nut and this is going to make me so happy when I get it in the mail! I'll have to cut it into smaller pieces so I don't use it all at once! I want to savor this!
I live in Louisiana and my bff lives in our hometown in Georgia, so I know how you feel. Calling and texting really help when I'm missing her a bunch. The best way to deal with the distance, though, is to see each other in person. I actually made it a priority to get her to Washington DC for an event hosted by the group I interned for back in 2017, and she's now doing the same internship for '18/'19! It was amazing to experience the city together, and I can't wait to go to the same event, this time as her guest.

My besties are in Maine and Texas. I’m in TN 😭 We have a group text we constantly chat on throughout the day. For 5.5 years we’ve kept our chat going daily. It’s totally part of our routines to chat when we have a minute. Through babies and illnesses, new jobs and losing a parent, laughs and tears- I am deeply, joyfully grateful for my far away besties. I’ve moved since, but there was about a year and a half where I lived over a THOUSAND miles away from my best friends. Calling is a must, and I also found that texting them all the the funny/weird/cool things that happen throughout the week is helpful too. BUT what we used to do that I honestly loved the most was we wrote letters occasionally. We’d try to make them fun (there was a good few months that we traded back and forth some seriously obnoxious confetti hidden in cards and paper or packages) but it was also a great way to keep each other updated, to talk when it seemed like no one was available at the same time, and to get some serious things out that were too sad/long to talk about on the phone. (Also I love this soap because I love coffee, too!) Have a great day!
I love the way this looks. It's so warm and elegant. I imagine it smells delicious and comfy. It looks like a snickers almost haha. My favorite friend and I used to get coffee together at a small cafe. We live 3 hours apart now and have for a few years. It doesn't get easier haha.

I have a best friend like that too! I moved to Tennessee to live with my dad, and I met her freshman year. It was 2007. So this year we have been BFF'S for 11 years!!! She currently lives in Nashville. Its about 2 and a half hours away. Tennesse isn't very tall, but she sure is long!! I miss her so much! She was my maid of honor in my wedding! P.s. THIS WAS THE BEST VIDEO EVER! I loved all the talking this video. ( I always do, but for some reason this particular video was so so so good!)
TheLaydewlf I think there's a way to keep the flowers from browning. What if you used modge podge over them or something like that?? I know lemon juice helps artichokes and other veggies from getting brown as well. I wonder if that would work??
Hey Katie! I totally feel ya...my BEST friend since forever lives 3 hrs away! And we both have little ones, so definitely hard to keep in touch....BUT something that is amazing for us and keeps us updated and feeling close to each other even miles away is Marco Polo....not sure if you have heard of it. It's an App for your phone where you basically can record video messages and go back and forth, which is great for people with littles because you can't always finish a whole conversation! It is so great, just wanted to let you know about it! Awesome soap again (as usual!) You are so awesome and totally make me happier every time I get to watch you :)
I've had to wait all day to watch the video, had to go to Wyoming and back! Me and my best friend have been friends since 6th grade! He moved to a town 20 minutes away, we stayed close. We stayed close even with me in the army, I was in his wedding, he visited me stationed in Colorado. He is my closet person my whole life, my daughter is named after him. His middle name is Rene :) He just moved to Georgia this year and even my daughter misses him like crazy. I always send random pictures or videos fot him.

Also if you have the Google app duo, that is a video chatting app but I have found it's much clearer then other apps for video calling. :)

I live in Louisiana and my bff lives in our hometown in Georgia, so I know how you feel. Calling and texting really help when I'm missing her a bunch. The best way to deal with the distance, though, is to see each other in person. I actually made it a priority to get her to Washington DC for an event hosted by the group I interned for back in 2017, and she's now doing the same internship for '18/'19! It was amazing to experience the city together, and I can't wait to go to the same event, this time as her guest.

We have a group text we constantly chat on throughout the day. For 5.5 years we’ve kept our chat going daily. It’s totally part of our routines to chat when we have a minute. Through babies and illnesses, new jobs and losing a parent, laughs and tears- I am deeply, joyfully grateful for my far away besties.

I’ve moved since, but there was about a year and a half where I lived over a THOUSAND miles away from my best friends. Calling is a must, and I also found that texting them all the the funny/weird/cool things that happen throughout the week is helpful too. BUT what we used to do that I honestly loved the most was we wrote letters occasionally. We’d try to make them fun (there was a good few months that we traded back and forth some seriously obnoxious confetti hidden in cards and paper or packages) but it was also a great way to keep each other updated, to talk when it seemed like no one was available at the same time, and to get some serious things out that were too sad/long to talk about on the phone.
(Also I love this soap because I love coffee, too!) Have a great day!

I love the way this looks. It's so warm and elegant. I imagine it smells delicious and comfy. It looks like a snickers almost haha. My favorite friend and I used to get coffee together at a small cafe. We live 3 hours apart now and have for a few years. It doesn't get easier haha.
I wish I could have snagged one but I missed the sale. Ah well.

Lovely soap, I am sure Karolinecwill love it, hopefully you get to do your weekend together. My lifelong friend is 7 hours away, and we hardly get to see each other, but the great thing about those kind of friends is when you do get together, you click back into your friendship like you have never been apart!

I try to get one every release. I get the enjoyment of using this fabulous soap and helping her little sis out a wee bit...what better way to enjoy it!

I love watching your videos, never knew I wanted to watch soap making videos until I stumbled across your channel lol. You should do a fandom series, that would be so cool, Doctor Who. Harry Potter, Mario, Zelda etc. It would allow you to be so creative with them!
I have a best friend like that too! I moved to Tennessee to live with my dad, and I met her freshman year. It was 2007. So this year we have been BFF'S for 11 years!!! She currently lives in Nashville. Its about 2 and a half hours away. Tennesse isn't very tall, but she sure is long!! I miss her so much! She was my maid of honor in my wedding!

make a soap with dried flowers and soft pastel tones!
most dried flowers end up picking up moisture from the soap and start to rot and turn brown.
ahh that’s too bad i’d have loved for her to do a soap like that
TheLaydewlf I think there's a way to keep the flowers from browning. What if you used modge podge over them or something like that?? I know lemon juice helps artichokes and other veggies from getting brown as well. I wonder if that would work??
She did one a few months ago. It had tons of dried flowers. I bought one. It's beautiful even after the flowers browned.

Hey Katie! I totally feel ya...my BEST friend since forever lives 3 hrs away! And we both have little ones, so definitely hard to keep in touch....BUT something that is amazing for us and keeps us updated and feeling close to each other even miles away is Marco Polo....not sure if you have heard of it. It's an App for your phone where you basically can record video messages and go back and forth, which is great for people with littles because you can't always finish a whole conversation! It is so great, just wanted to let you know about it! Awesome soap again (as usual!) You are so awesome and totally make me happier every time I get to watch you :)

I've had to wait all day to watch the video, had to go to Wyoming and back! Me and my best friend have been friends since 6th grade! He moved to a town 20 minutes away, we stayed close. We stayed close even with me in the army, I was in his wedding, he visited me stationed in Colorado. He is my closet person my whole life, my daughter is named after him. His middle name is Rene :) He just moved to Georgia this year and even my daughter misses him like crazy. I always send random pictures or videos fot him.
