OK! I am having a "relaxed" Sunday and so just did my makeup at noon! 😊 I HIGHLY recommend this look for others to try!! The first thing I can say is that I cannot see the pores on my nose, sides of nose, or chin and I have larger pores in these areas. I followed all the steps exactly as you did them. The second thing I can say is that my eyes look beautiful without noticibly showing eyeshadow. I asked my spouse, who is very honest, and he agreed! I will use this look for work again tomorrow! The products I used were the Chantacaille Lotus pink Highlighter, Dior Backstage pink blush, Chanel Sublimage L'Essence de Teint foundation, Givenchy Prism Libre loose powder #3, Mac Prep & Prime +, and the Dior Ossee 277 lipstick which goes really well with the blush!! Love, love, love!!! Xoxo Sarah ❤️❤️❤️
OMG, Thank you soooo much, Sara! 🥰❤ I am truly happy it worked for you and once again a huge thank you for the feedback! It's so important to me. Sending you much love and have a wonderful day! xoxo
Beautiful look, Angela! I love when you share makeup tricks because they always work for me. I can't wait to recreate this look. May I say, the lipstick is gorgeous! I am ordering it right now and it's totally influenced by you! I am lucky because we have the same skin tone and hair colors so what works for you always worked on me as well.
@@Frenchforaday Angela, it worked like a dream! I wrote my feedback in a comment and I mentioned the products that I used. My skin never looked that airbrushed. Thank you! More of these videos please.
Hi friends and thank you for watching like a Parisienne ❤ Let's talk about travel and makeup around the world. What's your favorite country and where would you travel this year?
Hi Angela I am going to try this it's a beautiful look for a casual weekend to when I don't feel like wearing much makeup like for my kind of work I love the highlighter as a eyeshadow you look beautiful 💞
Hi Sierra :) Thank you so much for watching my video. I often use highlighters on the eyes. I think they look very flattering. Of course, your work calls for a more glam look with a lot more visible glow on the face :)
I wanted leave my feedback. I tried the look today and this is the first time that my skin actually looks airbrushed! I didn't think this could work on me. But it did. And I am so happy with the way my skin looks. I have some large pores on the sides of my nose (big mistake with nose strips in my younger years) and I have pores on the center of my cheeks. This technique with the powder first and then foundation pressed into the skin with fingers literally erased my pores. I used the Givenchy powder shown by Angela and my foundation choice was Givenchy Prisme Libre skin caring glow which again I purchased because of Angela and I love it. The only thing I changed was that I applied the highlighter last because I love more glow. Thank you, Angela! This is my new makeup routine. ❤
This is a very pretty look. I love that crisp white shirt on you. You’re probably a “winter” palette in color analysis. I would love to see you try the Thrive tubing mascara in the purple color. It sounds scary, but you almost cannot even tell it’s purple, yet it brings out blue eyes, especially with purple shadow. Mandy MUA just did a video with it.
Hi lovely ❤️ I love a crisp white shirt but I have forgotten that it tends to make some sounds when I move and the mic is catching some crinkly sounds from time to time. I hope it was not distracting. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I've never tried a purple mascara. lol But it's fun experiment. I think we don't have Thrive in Europe though...
@@Frenchforaday No, I didn’t hear anything with your shirt. Too bad Thrive isn’t carried in Europe. It’s the perfect black purple that brings out the eyes.
I am going to try this. I don’t use matte foundation, I use lighter weight ones that usually have “glow” - but it seems no matter what I do, applying with a sponge or brush, it always looks like too much. Thanks to the shout out to us health care workers, I have no time to be worrying about or touching up my makeup, but I want to look polished.
Hi lovely and on behalf of our whole community: THANK YOU for everything that you do for all of us every single day! ❤️ Some of our family members worked in medicine and I know how hard and responsible it is. About the foundation: have you tried rubbing it in with your fingers like I did here? Usually fingers give the most natural effect and more control. Start with a small amount of your foundation and press into your skin. If you need to add more, do so but start with small amount. xoxo
I love this look and the techniques, Angela. I have a few under eye fine wrinkles, at age 70 it is expected! I have used a technique to keep my foundation or concealer from settling in those lines. I use a setting spray and I spray a bit on my fingers and apply it under my eyes after foundation/concealer and I don't set it with powder afterwards. It has worked really well for me. I love the Dior Paris lipstick and it will be my next purchase. I am a bit of a lipstick addict. I have so, so many but I can't resist a beautiful color! I appreciate your mentioning healthcare workers. I am a Registered Nurse, retired now, but I practiced for almost 45 years. It is a hard job both mentally and physically. As cut backs have happened over the years, it has become even more difficult, fewer people to do more work. Thank you again for all you do and teach us! Deborah
Happy Early Birthday Angela!! I hope you have a great time in Paris!! 🎉❤🎉 Xoxo. I will definitely try this look tomorrow! I was up & out the door early this morning, so already did makeup today! 😊
Would you tell, please, us about the methods and means of cleansing the skin of the face and pores in the area of the nose, forehead and chin. Thank you.😊
Hi there!! I can't wait to try powder highlighters under foundation! I've tried liquid under foundation or blended into foundation, but never underneath! It's always fun to 'play' with different techniques. I really enjoy having fun with products! 😊
Hi Sara, Let us know how it works. ❤️❤️❤️ I also love using my liquid highlighters under foundation. Sometimes I want less glowy skin and it works great. xoxo
Hi Louise ❤️ I'm so happy to see you here :) You are always doing it right. Makeup is about having fun so there is no right or wrong way. It's fun to experiment :)

Can you use this technique with the Chanel flawless finish compact foundation??? It’s a powder foundation. Please let me know if you can use it instead of a liquid foundation.
Hi Marina, The only powder foundation that Chanel currently have in Europe is the Ultra Le teint powder foundation. I like this foundation. Of course you can apply your highlighter first and see if you like the effect. Makeup is about experimenting. :) Have a great day and thanks for watching! xoxo
You look stunning and youthful, well, you are young anyway. ❤️ I am over 50 now and have noticed I need more afford and colour to achieve a no makeup makeup look. Enjoy Paris and best wishes
Hi Pia ❤️ Thank you so much! overall the no makeup makeup look always takes a little bit longer. But I love these kind of looks. Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for watching!
Well, I just tried this technique and must say that it did look airbrushed! I have dry skin , so I wasn't sure how pondering the skin first would work out, but it did create an flawless effect especially on my nose where I have visible pores. The only modification I made was to spot conceal bits of sun damage on the sides of my cheeks. I'm saving this in my file on UA-cam! Thank you Angela. 🌸
I love this really easy going and gorgeous look. You look so stunning, Angela! I think there is something interesting about each and every country that I have visited. I do think Paris is a great city and the places in France 🇫🇷 were all so beautiful when I traveled there. I am planning to explore my own country, Korea this year. As always, thank you, thank you for sharing, Angela! I hope Angela and all your of you have a great week! 🇫🇷🗼💄🧴😄🥰🛍️
Hi Sara ❤️ Thank you so much! I will and Happy belated birthday to you! I wish you from the bottom of my heart to celebrate your 47th birthday in Paris and to end the evening on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Eiffel tower! P.S. In many ways, Nick is so similar to a person that you might know - it's always all about work and achievements. I have been whining about this birthday trip since December lol But seriously... I wanted a dog as well but ... it's not a reasonable wish. xoxo
Hello :) Guerlain has the same scent like the terracotta bronzers. I personally love it but if you are bothered by fragrance this could be an issue. xoxo
Lovely look. I have two questions: 1. Do you use lash serum? My lashes are straight like yours, but they do not stay curled like yours do. I use the Shiseido lash curler. 2. When I went to my local Lacome retailer, I was told that all the Lancome La Vie est Belle perfumes have Rose Extraordinaire, and that the bottle with the rose is an old bottle from 5 years ago. Sephora told me the same thing. Is this true? I would love to get the rose bottle for my collection. Thank you.
Hi Rhonda :) I've never used lash serum mostly because my eyes are very sensitive and I try to avoid any additional products close to my eyes. About the curlers: I use Rephr 18R, one from Sephora France and I have one from Chanel. I curl my lashes twice. I curl once and the I go back for a second curl before I apply mascara. This is the only way to keep the curl on my lashes. Also, some mascaras don't hold the curl. So try curling your lashes twice and if your lashes don't stay curled, the try changing the mascara. Some of my favorites that hold the curl are: YSl the curler mascara, Le Volume de Chanel, Dior Iconic overcurl, Maybelline lash sensational, Benefit Roller Lash, Lancome Hypnose Drama. These are some that work for me. About the Lancome La vie est belle Rose extraordinaire: this is the newest Lancome perfume. You can read more on the official website of Lancome here: www.lancome.co.uk/perfume/la-vie-est-belle-rose-extraordinaire/00920-LAC.html For now it's only available in Europe and UK. I gave you a link to UK because it;s in English. You can read about the bottle and the perfume. Sephora USA still don't have this perfume.
Hi Angela. Oooh that lipstick is gorgeous on you. I have bought many products on your recommendation and have loved every one. I would love to try this lipstick but I have a small mouth with a thin upper lip and upper lip lines and always feel strong colours don’t suit me and enhance the lines. Your skin looks amazing xx
Hi Heidi :) I also have very thin lips but I always go over the contours and make them a bit fuller. Contrary to the popular belief, bright colors are usually better for thin lips because they make them pop visually especially when you shape your lips and go slightly on top. I have a very old video where I show a technique to make small lips fuller and it's been on my to do/to film list to do an updated version of this video because I think I can help people like us. :) About this lipstick in particular: The color is great. My only concern is that you mentioned lip lines. The color Paris has a slight sheen that could emphasize lines a bit if the lips are dry... That's the only think that is stopping me to tell you go for it. Other than that the color is beautiful. Maybe see it in person next time when you go to a cosmetic store. xoxo
You are so beautiful. That Sissely is too light, or you are getting flash back from the lights. I appreciate your technique, and I can't wait to try it. You look beautiful.
I was testing a bronzing cream that I applied the night before to my neck, decollate and I only noticed that it worked when I was editing the video lol I wanted to bronze my legs and chest lightly for a dress that I am planning to wear on my birthday :)
