"We should get this guy to design the line across the Nullarbor Plain" one of the officials remarked.😇
The eternal goat track between Nth Bendigo Junction and Epsom is again getting some attention with more resleepering soon. Whether the TSR ever gets lifted is up for debate!
There are a couple of developing housing estates in the vicinity but I think it will be years before they build closer to this station. It also helps when one of the local ministers was the MLA for Bendigo East and is now the Premier of the state but then maybe I'm just guessing !
There used to be no trains to Echuca, when I last visited there was one freight train and got to come down and watch them turn a loco around. Bugger all passenger trains, stationmaster said like 1 a week or something.
@@driver667 Yeah this was a long time ago I was there. Might have been 2008 or something like that. I might actually consider going up there by train some time during this winter.

Huntly station literally looks like a spit of modern in the middle of nowhere lol, another great in cab ride!

Plenty of passenger trains with a freight train or two thrown into the mix. 👍😀
