Stefan has a beautiful voice. The first time I noticed that was when I listened to Hotel Persona songs. It’s great to hear his vocals taking protagonism on a placebo song

Love Stefs voice he shines here. As he usually complements Brian's vocals its great he takes centre stage on this one.Brian is instantly recognisable as I can't recall another voice anything like as distinctive as his but its not overwhelming Stef here but accenting and harmonising beautifully. I love Placebo and cannot wait for November when I see them again.

I hear a lot of people asking for another cover album. Considering that you’ve managed to make some very good ones so far, I’ll leave a humble suggestion. I’ve always wondered how Depeche Mode’s “Walking in my shoes” would sound like in Molko’s voice. I honestly think that somehow he could easily relate to the lyrics and bring out the best in them. And it’s a huge task since the original is close to perfection…
I barely recognise Brian’s voice in this, I do t know why they didn’t change it more .
My favourite cover after the covers album is Hardly Wait, now that has a placebo and Brian’s flare

@@tobietera You have a point, but there definitely were somewhat simpler times. It's not that we have it worse, it's just that the madness is becoming more and more... intricate. It's always been this way, but this process seems to speed up/become more prominent exponentially along with the so called "progress" of humanity. It much easier for anyone to get a glimse of this "madness" in the Post-Industrial/Digital age, but it has become even harder for an average person to grasp the extent and the nature of that madness.

@@tobietera the world is always quite mad but in recent years we have been overwhelmed by problem after problem. We had the Covid pandemic with our government telling us we weren’t allowed to see family and friends while they were partying and children were missing education. In other countries it was handled better but it still caused a lot of mental health issues due to isolation. Then Russia attacked Ukraine which caused all kinds of diplomatic incidents as countries were trying to help but didn’t want to start another world war. Not sure on news coverage outside of the UK but here they are trying to move away from discussing it even though there is still conflict. It’s dealt with if you just ignore it apparently. The climate crisis which is always getting worse with many days of heatwaves affecting infrastructure this year - I don’t know of any countries particularly taking it seriously. The significant rises in energy costs which are predicted to rise further in the coming months which will cause problems for more and more families. Some countries have outlined measures to help but in the UK this is negligible. The media in the UK (mostly England) convincing people to vote to leave the EU - utter madness which we will be paying for for many years. The abundance of abuse on social media often to total strangers. There seems to be a huge pressure to be perfect and have the correct filters on photos. It will soon be that we won’t recognise a person in the street.

I loved it! I was asking myself how it would be in Brian's voice and it's perfect what Placebo did. Stefan's voice brings that sensitivity and Brian's voice that angry on the lyric.
