It seems that many people in bowling keep chasing the latest and greatest balls, instead of actually improving their skills on a higher level.
Makes sense to me!
Because honestly, the majority of folks probably don’t care enough to make the time to work on their physical game with the arsenal they have. Some would just rather buy a ball that does what they want to with minimal effort. Not here to say what’s right or what’s wrong. That’s purely speculation on my part.
I like to do a little bit of both, theres a reason why theres so many different balls. They're made to do different things, maybe similar, but different. When you bowl on a variety of sport shots, sometimes you need new stuff to do different things.
I wish we would go back to old days when all of the balls were exactly the same & people have to learn how to actually bowl.

Hustle ink was an amazing ball but the Camo is my favorite of them all. The camo is the only ball that seems to always work at my house. It’s got around 500 games on it so it’s time for a new Hustle!!!
My personal favorite Hustle ever was the Hustle Wine. beautiful ball and I love the motion, especially pin down. I actually just bought a new one. wanted to scoop up one more since it's now discontinued. my son loves his Hustle USA

For me it's the Hustle USA, I throw it in League on the Fresh. I'm very intrigued by the new Xray coming out
The hustle INK is my favorite, the Thrilled coverstock is amazing on that ball. All the other hustles have the vtc coverstock. If I had to choose my favorite hustle with the VTC coverstock it would be the hustle Camo.
I have noticed with these lower end balls that they are very touchy. A lot of over under and you have to be really good with your speed control
very easy to adjust the cover, l love my Hustle USA. i didnt until l bought the cover to 3000 and then it was money
When you say you are going to throw the ball straighter I expect you to throw shots down and in but it looks like you are still playing a swing shot, not really straight. Try throwing it up the boards and see what type of reaction you get.

Xray looks pretty bad compared to what it looked like on the website pics. M+M is probably the nicest looking of the more recent Hustles (in person). The camo would be my first choice if anyone had any left.

Make a video on how to build the best 6 ball arsenal. I always have a problem with picking balls that are too similar and not completing my bag from top to bottom. It would help a lot if you could make a video!
Consider subscribing to "Bowling This Month." It's about 50$ for the year. They do ball reviews, have ball a comparison section and the ability to place balls on a graph to give you a visual of the differences is length and back end strength.. They also have numerous "how to" and other educational articles. I've built a 10 ball arsenal using the information. Many times I've thought about getting a certain ball, using the comparison graph I find I have 1 or 2 balls very close to the one I was considering purchasing.

What i dont understand... AFAIK: The Hustle USA is exactly the same ball only different finish and colors? Why do they do that? Hit it with 3000 and you have an USA (besides the colors).

The Hustles always turn over every couple of years. VTC cover in solid, hyb, & pearl; sanded or polished. Just marketing.

Why do they do it? To sell more balls. The vids keep coming from DTang and everyone else... THE BEST BALL, THE BEST HUSTLE, THE BEST Beginner ball etc, you need to put another ball out to sell another ball :p
