- Prince William and Kate Middleton, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were full of praise for the cast of 'Dear Evan Hansen' last night, after attending a gala performance of the hit musical at the Noel Coward Theatre in London's west end.
The show was held in aid of the couple's Royal Foundation, for which mental health is a key focus.
Last year, Prince William and Kate helped to launch Shout 85258, a free and confidential 24/7 UK text messaging service that supports people in crisis.

William/Kate were always lazy couple, until recently. The Queen dumped all that extra so called 'work' on them, since Prince Harry moved to Canada! Now those two lazy people are so called 'working'. I wonder how they like their life now? Kate will be complaining again and so will Willy !!

Lovely, Simple, interested, get on with people even if its for a few minutes . It is expected of them . But is done with ease and flow. Love seeing them interact with different groups of people.

I just love William - so sincere, kind and intelligent. Catherine is wonderful too - slowly falling in love with them individually and as a couple representing OUR beautiful 'Green & Pleasant Land'.
They have really started inbedding themselves into the hearts of the British people - that doesn't happen overnight.
They did us proud when the going got tough - showed loyalty, grit and warmth - AND confidence. Epitomised that oh so British phrase, 'Keep Calm & Carry On' for modern current times. W&C made it look easy amidst the backdrop of the on-going drama with their smiles and genuine keeness to listen to those they were interacting with.
They have EARNED the respect and love of the nation - that's a lifetime thing, that moment someone becomes special to you, more than just a 'figure head'. You feel loyalty towards them, not because of their position, but by their CHARACTER.

I understand what you are saying, I'm not neccessarily a 'Royalist' - I was very much the opposite in my younger days but that doesn't take away from them as people. They, like you or me had no say in what and who they were born into or with.
With the backdrop of what's going on, they manage to be professional - so I personally respect that. And I agree, they are doing a job and fulfilling a role.
They are public servants so we are, collectively their boss in effect. Because of this, we rightly expect them to represent the UK in a positive light, be engaged with people and bring in tourism to our country etc. They work for us. It is why we would not accept them sitting around and doing nothing, why we hold them to high standards - and why they are, and should be, scrutinised.
I don't personally agree with any monarchy system as people are born into a unique previldge and power - but the British monarchy is a little different. It's one that has a strange relationship with its people - it's delicate and can change any time. There is a certain balance. We have satire based on the Royal family and we make jokes about them all the time - and that's okay. It's not a dictatorship.
Once when I wasn't sure of having a monarchy, a friend of mine said, 'When people ask, what's British culture.... it's the royal family'. I had never thought of it that way. I always thought of the theatre, literature, arts, music, beautiful country walks etc - but I realised then, that not only does the monarchy represent the UK on a global stage but also represents a huge part of our culture. I'm not saying this is wrong or right, just stating what many both inside and outside the UK think when they think of Britain - aside from our rainy weather ☺
Yes, they have previldge and immense wealth but with it, comes a great responsibility AND ACCOUNTABILITY - rightly. We have a difference of opinion and that is okay. I wish you well. Ps. Sorry for my essay! ☺

I married a narcissist and within 9 months I went from a healthy 125 lbs, 5'4" to barely 100 lbs due to narcissistic abuse. Unhealthy marriage is no good for anyone.

Because God is the king of universe full of splendor.....But , God also created humans who becomes kings or queens with all its splendor which makes people chuckle amazed just as we amazed to see objects created by God ( rainbows , snow , waterfall ,etc ) and all that is under God' s control.
