timo boll = spin loop king. very experienced player. he started off medium strength quick loop to prevent tokic from fast countering, then as tokic adjusted to looping more, boll switched to low arc, light spin to force errors out. tokic adjusts by switching from aggressive to a more neutral play, boll accelerates to put on pressure for tokic to continue aggression. boll then continues to mix up power, spin, and speed to force errors. boll was in control the entire match.
the reason why Dima lost to Bojan is because Tokic IS indeed pretty consistent in both defense and offense. And while Dima has solid backhand, none of his bullets are as fast as those from lets say Ma Long nor as spinny as from Timo. You can see that Dima was caught off guard so many times when he thought he just ripped the winner but nah, the ball right back. But Timo here is even more consistent than Tokic, his placement, technique, style, omg, what a pleasure.
tokic employs the paradoxical stance favoring backhand, as modern players train to attack opponent's backhand so much and takes advantage of this. but sooner or later people will start alternating to his forehand, i'd like to see how he adjusts to that. his forehand only qualifies as a good blocker at best
tim boll is a left hand, tokic is right hand, it makes a lots of difference, why because bojan tokic is used to play a lots of good right hand players and changing in a important game with a very good left hand throw your game off not all players can adjusted the mind fast to left hands,,,while left hands players train and play mostly with right hands, in table tennis there are not much left hands,
watching Tokic played again after Ma Long, I believe he is not long lasting in the table Tennis any more. Because he is not a stable person, unlike the physical exercise the Chinese did when they practice. Mental exercise is as important as physical exercise. winning is not by luck alone ! Winning is a national Defense !not in one day or one year of enthusiasm ! George Wu, AIA, ARCHITECT NCARB 2016-5-9 If Ma Long falls; there will be a dozen coming up to take his place !
timo simply destroyed bojan tokic...timos technique is superior all around is a muchh better player with more experience, timo knew how to handle everything bojan tokic had, you can tell it on his face that tokic kinda gave up on the second set..he simply didnt know what to do agains timo...
Timo's footwork is unbelievable.
回転量の多い両ハンドと正確なカウンター。流石すぎる

I love this camera angle!! Nice job Dude!
selten habe ich Timo Boll von Anfang an so spielen sehen.
good effort Bojan!!!
tokic is so much skillful
I love how quiet the match was.
This is a good angle to watch.
The one and only!
If there's one person you wouldn't mind losing to, it's Timo Boll

Boll macht kurzen Prozess, obwohl Bojan Tokic im Viertelfinale gegen Dima gewonnen hat
why isnt there nearly anytthing about 1082p when it comes to table tennis ? :D would really like to see it in HD xP
What an easy win for Boll. I thougt it would be closer in this match. Look the quarterfinal from Tokic against Ovtcharov.
He was probably still tired after that match lol.
@Flokib do you mean Boll's "do"? that's his celebration
Tokic can't play with top and slow spin. He can play with player who plays mostly on power like Ma Long.
Bolls backhand was the sh#t.
Too Easy !
Like Boll is in training
boll played well here, different kettle of fish than dima

Авторитетом задавил. Если бы играл как с Овчаровым, были бы все шансы

Tokic makes so much noise when he plays ''un oh ha uh ho ah'' So annoying.
Un hun, un hun, un hun ,...
