One of the things I like about Blind Wave's reactions is that these guys seem to appreciate the craft of filmmaking that goes into the videos they're watching.
Me since monday.. *wakes up in the morning* "we're on eaaasy street" *eating breakfast* "annddd it feeels so sweet" *making coffee* "and the wooorld is but a treat, right here on eaasy str..." *parents* "shut the bloody hell up!"
I'm calling it now, Dwight is the Jaime of TWD. This Ep really made me feel sorry for him, sure he did shitty things, but so did Jaime and now we all love him!
thesimpsons17 kinda afraid to ask but, is Dwight an important character in the comics? Just yes or no please, no spoilers xD I only intend to start reading the comics when the series finishes the Negan story.
I wasn't keen on the casting of Dwight and I thought it was a miscast. But, I got over it after watching this episode. I hope they treat Dwight right in this show.
Regarding the number 39, the guy who got beat up while Dwight was making his sandwhich ended up as a walker in the courtyard. I think that when Dwight saw him getting beaten up, he knew the guy would die and wrote the number of the guy's bed (ie: 39) to get the guy's stuff before anyone else did, figuring he wouldn't need it anymore. I'm guessing the two people we see standing over Dwight when he took the pickles are the guy's relatives and that the guy in question probably didn't have enough points anymore which is why he ended up in the courtyard.
I don't think Dwight belongs to the category who do stuff for points now, he used to but he upgraded to the category who "lives like kings". At leats I thought so, since he's Negan "top guy" and all.... Could be wrong though.
Ismail El Massaoudi You're right, my bad, but Negan told Daryl that Dwight is "one of his top guy" and that he "used to work for points" before running away and coming back. The intro showed us that Dwight belongs to the "privileged" (with him not waiting in line etc).
One episode and Dwight is already the most interesting character on the show. This episode was way more than a "hint" in my opinion. If you are not sold yet, I don't think you want to be sold on him.
How can SHANE say Daryl isn’t a good guy? I’m totally flabbergasted by that Lol! Daryl is the best kind of guy, he’s loyal to those that are loyal to him, he protects his found family over everything, he always puts his life on the line to help them…he’s just the best guy!
I think they are certainly going for a Dwight redemption based on this episode. Him killing the fugitive and something about how he seemed to be on the verge of crying throughout the entire scene, and mostly the Glenn picture scene. He's a huge dick (ironic, considering his got bit in half xD) but I think he's doing it because he cares. He found a way to survive (low as a dog and completely humiliating, but surviving still) and he seems desperate to get Daryl to follow his steps, most likely guilt over how much he fucked Daryl up after Daryl unnecessarily tried to save him, his wife and his sister in law. I hope they go all the way through with it, actually. All of us GoT watchers know how great redemption arcs can be, but I don't think TWD has ever tried one, villains were always either pure evil (Governor, Terminus, Negan, Merle) or simply misguided people who happened to be on the wrong side without knowing it. It'd be cool to see an actual villain who's actually aware of his actions come back.
I think the thing about the bed with the number is that the number corresponded to the guy who was getting the shit kicked out of him. Dwight wrote down the guy's bunk number, knowing that the guy was going to be wounded/dead, and he could steal his shit without repercussions.
Eric, the bed with the number 39 above it was the bed of the guy who started a fight with the other Saviors during the intro montage. Dwight punished him by taking some of his belongings (mustard and pickles).
There's no way Daryl is going to betray the group by kneeling down to Negan especially after the guilt he feels..that's why he told Dwight he can't..it's like him and Dwight are two sides of the same coin..they both got the same motive, to protect people, but to do it Dwight feels like he has to kneel to Negan and Daryl feels like he can't
Yeah, what I got from the scene was that the guy was killed for losing his shit over the price for food and, after his death, Dwight went to his dorm to appropriate his belongings back to Negan.
Actually Dwight wrote #39 when the guy started picking a fight. He prob realized the guy was gonna get punished and went to reap the benefits since he wouldn't need his pickles. The guy ended up the walker that was chained outside when he was showing Daryl. He didn't steal from him until after the guy got himself into trouble
I don't know if you guys noticed the symbolism of the letter A in the walking dead... throughout the show they hide the letter A all over the place, they spray paint it in the background and use it in weird ways ...like in cell blocks, or train cars, and there was even an episode called "A" and the producers and show runners never mentioned what it means. Some people think it means A for Apocalypse. And also on the walking dead logo (the words) it says "the" above he letter A.....no one knows what it means tho.... just and interesting fact I thought you could think about while watching the show , cheers
Comic Comparisons: this entire episode is unique to the show Not a single piece of this happens in the comics because Daryl doesn’t exist in the comics and in the comics Negan doesn’t take any of the group back to the Sanctuary.
I had the savior prison experience when i was a kid i would listen to the 10 hour easy street when i would go to sleep, i dont know whats wrong with me
I feel Dwight is gonna be a "hero" in the end.. Something to do with letting Daryl and his wife go but he has to die for that to happen. Obviously its all just a guess.
I honestly think Daryl should've just said "Negan" at the end and gone along with the routine. I get it. Daryl is a badass. He's always been a badass. And he'll always be a badass regardless. But he needs to understand that there is a time and a place to show off your badassness, and right now, being trapped and tortured there at Negan's compound, that was NOT the time or place to be badass-Daryl. That was the time he needed to be smart-ass-Daryl. He should just play the part and secretly formulate an escape plan or something behind Negan's back; even if it meant he had to do some crazy shit. It'll all be worth it when we finally see Negan bite the dust.
I can only assume they mean his overall personality. Darly still acts very much like the tough guy loner from time to time. Also in Negan's eyes Rick and his whole crew are not good guys because they came and killed a lot of his guys.
The Wave Riders and the crew appreciate people like you :) You should consider joining the BW Discord. Lot's of awesome fans and a great community there
The crew received some filter sheetswhich you put infront of the lights and it changes the colour of the background. They have different different colours for different reactions :)
Westworld reactions are coming. Things have been really crazy for the crew lately and in particular Eric has been going through a rough patch. Sometimes life just gets in the way.

Sorry Eric but when do you think you are doing Supernatural Ps Episode 4 best episode of Season 12 so far Ps Sorry because you said not to mention other shows

Thats because all of them are filmmakers themselves :)

We're on easy street, and it feels so sweet...
The "A" on Daryl's shirt stands for Alexandria. Every person take from each community has a letter from that community. A, H, K, etc.
Didn't notice that..Thanks.
I know this is late but doesn't it mean Asshole?
the fact i learn this now is shocking.
"Arya Stark of winterfell" lol I'm dying Eric

The things Dwight does for love!

Yeah, he is.
I agree. I love his character in the comics, so I hope they do him justice to his comic book counterpart in the future.
+Haaris Kaleem big deal is an understatement.
Regarding the number 39, the guy who got beat up while Dwight was making his sandwhich ended up as a walker in the courtyard. Zestie I thought 39 was the number of points Dwight has.
I don't think Dwight belongs to the category who do stuff for points now, he used to but he upgraded to the category who "lives like kings". At leats I thought so, since he's Negan "top guy" and all.... Could be wrong though.

Zestie yeah looks like it
the guy who took off his shirt was killed and put out on the fence. he was the one Dwight saw as he ate the sandwhich
the guy who got beat up and killed, his room was 39 that's why Dwight took his stuff because he died and he doesn't need it
I love how Eric said "Arya Stark of Winterfell". That's what I thought :D
I found you guys when it was the "old channel" lol so proud of how far you guys have come, you all deserve it!
where is westworld :/?
One episode and Dwight is already the most interesting character on the show. This episode was way more than a "hint" in my opinion. If you are not sold yet, I don't think you want to be sold on him.
i am a little sold but not that much this episode showed there is more to dwight then we think

Merle is true evil? He redeemed himself and even sacrificed his life to try to kill the Governor.
LegacyHD well I didn't see his story as much of a "redemption arc", it seemed more like it was a whim choice =(
I think the thing about the bed with the number is that the number corresponded to the guy who was getting the shit kicked out of him. Dwight wrote down the guy's bunk number, knowing that the guy was going to be wounded/dead, and he could steal his shit without repercussions.
I hate Easy street

I think we're back with Rick & Co. next week. We also have a Tara & Heath episode coming up soon as well.
Finally, been waiting for your reaction to this. Have been watching a bunch of other reactions, but your was the one I was really excited to watch! :)
There's no way Daryl is going to betray the group by kneeling down to Negan especially after the guilt he feels..that's why he told Dwight he can't..it's like him and Dwight are two sides of the same coin..they both got the same motive, to protect people, but to do it Dwight feels like he has to kneel to Negan and Daryl feels like he can't
wow..I don't agree with that at all
I think I would play along with Negan.....get on his good side untill the opportunity to kill him presents itself
yeah i think daryl should do that but maybe wants to punished for what happend with glenn
I don't think Dwight stole that food. I think as he was climbing up the social ladder to Negan's good side, he was being rewarded with more food.
yes, he's a 'negan' that gets all the good perks. just like that big dude who apparently gets to eat as much as he wants
Yeah, what I got from the scene was that the guy was killed for losing his shit over the price for food and, after his death, Dwight went to his dorm to appropriate his belongings back to Negan.

I was waiting for Raptors on motorcycles to pick Calvin up at any second...
You guys should do Mr.Robot reactions.
Was the letter "A" a reference to seasons 4 Terminus and the wagon they got locked up in ?
apparantly each prisoner gets a letter frow where they came from daryl has an a from alexandria
By the Sanctuary's standards of safety, Alexandria had an excellent defence system. You know... Before the guard tower fell down.
"Dwight Schrute" LMFAO!!
Y’all dirty for having the pops showing Glenn getting slapped
Are you guys planning to do a Young Justice reactions?
Dwight was holding his side and his bike was broken because there was a car chase scene but amc cut it because of time restraints.
really? c'mon why did they have to cutt so what if the episode lasted longer that's what we want long episodes
Yeah, you can even see parts of the car chase scene in the Season 7 trailer so it seems like it was a last second decision.
MANTIS it's really fucked up that they did it really
So that's where Reedus did Mo-Cap for Death Stranding.
Carlos S lol
I loved this episode and the slow build up. It helps the story.
Glenn Pop spotted on the reaction table! =D
Spokes Calvin... sprockets are what the chain rolls around...
I realized it just before Calvin said it, but not only is it like Rick's magnum. It must be it. They took whatever they wanted from them.
Next week's episode is gonna be 95 minutes, with the main group in Alexandria.
+Blind Wave Eric is always hungry. lol. I mean that in a good way.
imagine if oliver was in the walking dead i guarantee he'd solo negans crew just give him 3 days and their all gone.
If the wives say yes because they are terrified for themselves and their loved ones, does it count as a yes?
Comic Comparisons: this entire episode is unique to the show Not a single piece of this happens in the comics because Daryl doesn’t exist in the comics and in the comics Negan doesn’t take any of the group back to the Sanctuary.
Great reaction dudes! This Sunday's a 80 minute episode ! :)
Taking a break from panicking over the election results to enjoy my favorite channel. :)
Jeremiah Denton was the same guy that blinked 'TORTURE' in morse code during an attempted propaganda TV appearance.
Aw man, I was hoping to see your reaction to Daryl's crying scene.
I had the savior prison experience when i was a kid i would listen to the 10 hour easy street when i would go to sleep, i dont know whats wrong with me
Dwight isn't a very loud person some would say hes a bit of a Whisperer.........;)
if Dwight does help him leave he won't go with him because he either dies or say something like you can't trust me
I feel Dwight is gonna be a "hero" in the end.. Something to do with letting Daryl and his wife go but he has to die for that to happen. Obviously its all just a guess.
possibly yeah it would be intersting to see dwights ew wife going back with daryl to alexandria
I love this show so much

Hey Eric Negan's job before is a gym coach
WE'RE ON EASY STREET
Negan VS Punisher
I've watched every season, it's not getting better...
i think Dwight is going to help daryl escape but daryl ends up killing him
shane: "you know me, I wait years to get revenge upon people". too much info?
yeah shane is awesome
Blind Wave can you answer this question for me...How are you guys so awesome???👌Great reaction to the episode.

S.Michelle PR *Daryl triggerd*
Where does Daryl poop all that dog food?
Does no one think the girl thats singing Easy Street sounds like beth? (Emily Kinney)
Yes! As soon as the song came on I thought "wait... how did they get a recording of Beth?" lol
God! Shane is so cute😅😊
Hopefully we will see Aaron on the coming reactions of TWD ☺
Negan hates rapists and he does have more than one wife, he has a harem in the comics.
I always look forward to your reactions, especially TWD. Thanks for the hard work! Also......I don't like that Pop placement >:(
ON EASY STREEET
what's up with the green in the back ground
The crew received some filter sheetswhich you put infront of the lights and it changes the colour of the background. They have different different colours for different reactions :)
Oh i see i like it :)
Jesus man, the guy on the right develops more and more to an Amish guy
They cut the funny part of Negan being thirsty. And Daryl's sad part. What sort of reaction was this?
Guys I love your work but we need to see some Westworld already! :)
Westworld reactions are coming. Things have been really crazy for the crew lately and in particular Eric has been going through a rough patch. Sometimes life just gets in the way.
Dear crew of blindwave, please do hulk vs doomsday deathbattle.
and westworld?

Fuck Yes......been waiting on this guys
Depends on how guilty you feel. If the feels kick in about the death of my friend then I won't take the bed as a punishment to myself tbh :/
Does Aaron not like twd?
He's not caught up. Plus, he's busy. The crew divides up some of the shows amongst themselves. Like Aaron does Supergirl
Sorry Eric but when do you think you are doing Supernatural
Ps Episode 4 best episode of Season 12 so far
Ps Sorry because you said not to mention other shows

Katie Stubbs okay :(
Damn, you guys REALLY didn't add in all the good quotes/scenes. Only 10 minutes of show footage :( . Btw, where was Trevor aka simon ?
Yep. Thats the rules. Can only show 10 minutes of footage otherwise they receive a copyright strike.
+Katie Stubbs fuck youtube and it's copyrights seriously
Those are the rules unfortunately. No way around them.
Katie Stubbs yeah i know but they just make me so mad haha
WHERE ARE THE WESTWORLD REACTIONS ??????
Westworld reactions are coming. Things have been really crazy for the

Well if there rapist and murders they kind of deserve that kind of treatment don't they?
Wow
Yall are so wrong (with the pop placement).
i wanna be firssstttttttt
the whole episode could have benn fairly fit in 10 minutes. weak episode
