اصل لفظ “ بقر اعید “ ہے ، بکرا عید نہیں ، بقر عربی لفظ ہے جس کے معنی ہیں “ گائے “ ۔ قرآن میں سب سے لمبی سور ہ
سورہ بقر کے نام سے ہے ،اسی معنی سے ۔
