Since this is a taste test video, when I saw that there were shoes for Tim and Tam in the box, my mind flashed to the famous scene from Charlie Chaplin's 1925 movie The Gold Rush, where his character tried eating his shoe for Thanksgiving dinner. Eating the Merci chocolates would be much more appealing than the Dude shoes, of course. Nice video, Tam and Tim!

When I had that illness I drank lots of chrysanthemum and honey tea, the honey is great for the throat and chrysanthemum has a lot of vitamin c and iron which can be good for some types of colds/flu

Did you know marzipan has small non lethal traces of cyanide in it? I learned that the other day, so a peanut allergy and the thought of poison definitely keep me from ever wanting marzipan lol

Oh no that is awful I'm only on week 4 and already I'm thinking wow this just goes on and on. I really hope you both get better soon. Everyone keeps saying it is covid but it isn't unless it is some new super strain that can't be detected. We are keeping our distance from people because we don't want to give it to anyone.
@@CheekyTam I got it a week or so before hubby and when he got it too, we did a few Covid tests and all have been negative. Hubby even ended up at the doctor and they said it can take up to a couple of months to get over these flu viruses. It's frustrating because it just keeps turning around and starting back up. We have been avoiding people too. I hope you both get well soon.xx
