- This part of our journey was probably the most physically and mentally challenging of all, there was a number of times where I asked myself WHY? Why are we even doing this? Why am I so fatigued? We are made to be pushed to our limits, to be uncomfortable, to struggle and embracing that is a great feeling!? At least sometimes?
Anyway, please enjoy this video! It took me hours and hours to put together and I would love to hear any feedback you may have 🥰
I mountain biked over the Maungatapu Track at the beginning of 1991. No internet back then, or a drone cam. All I had was a paper map. Those were the days.
Love watching you two. Such a good sense of humour! Keep the videos coming
Thank you so much! We better start planning the next one 😜
2nd video now...and I love you guys!!! I've done some bike packing as "The Twisted Bikepacker", but I'd probably die if I did it your way! LMFAOOO!!! I love this Dash!!! - Davey.
Hahaha love it! Thank you Davey ☺️

We are planning this trip in feb from picton to bluff, am wondering what month did you do this in (the dusting of snow is worrying haha), and also which part of the trail is the waterfall and the parts you walked in 11:50? Thanks!
Felt your pain on those climbs! The tracks are so beautiful in NZ!
So beautiful! Hope you get a chance to do it 😍
Really enjoying the videos takes me back and reminds me of maungatapu .. and big river . Ha ha tough days !
Hey just curious as to what gear you used for the video ?
Thank you, reliving the pain 😂
We’ve got a GoPro 7 which we use for 90% of filming, DJI Mavic Mini drone and a Canon EOS 200D which I mostly use for photos ☺️
You should look into bikepacking setup specially for those trails
We definitely will next time 😍
Best one so far. I really liked Gibbo’s gold mining skills! Also when he lost his virginity to his bike 🎉 good for him
Finally 😂
Yee-harr, ride-em-cowboy😂
Ha ha ha,
Definitely not me.
Bit of a nut bashing down hill journey.
Awesome footage, you two.
Adorable 😂
