I don't think MV is getting the credit it deserves. Their bikes are awesome in spite of some minor tuning issues that have since been updated. Their bikes are definitely not for wusses. The 3-cylinder design is the best for street use IMO with strong low-end grunt as well as a top-end rush.

A beginner motorcyclist must first learn how to ride defensively and for conditions, to ride like you are invisible to other drivers. Paying constant attention to the road surface is very important also; a pothole or gravel on a paved corner can cause an upset or slide. These days even so-called 'beginner' bikes like a Suzuki SV650 or Yamaha FZ07 have around 70 hp which a few decades ago were called superbikes. These would be much better choices for a rider starting out; make no mistake these are still powerful fast motorcycles. Your main concern is using discretion, anticipating hazards, and learning skills to avoid ever getting into an accident. Taking a motorcycle riding and safety course is also a good idea. Young guys should also use caution; testosterone makes us stupid lol!

The short style slip ons sound amazing on it too, but MV with that triple pipe design are by far the best looking factory pipe i've ever seen. I wouldn't change it either.

Non si può paragonare la Ducati Diavel con MV dragster....c'è troppa differenza di prezzo a sfavore della Ducati che costa ben 4270 € in più la versione base....poi la cilindrata e il motore...insomma sono due mezzi diversi!!Logico poi aspettarsi magari finiture da parte di Mv non proprio in linea con il marchio...però immagino che per contenere i prezzi siamo di fronte lo stesso ad un ottimo prodotto!!!
I don't get one thing. Why do the companies like MVA or Ducati spend so much time to make every single detail look stunning and the put such hideous displays to ruin bike's looks? Haven't their designer seen modern smartphone or tablet? If they feel like going for big touchscreens they should make it as aggressive and futuristic as the rest of the bike. Not use small screen of random shape and place it inside absolutely awful frame made from something that looks like the cheapest plastic you can find.

In most cases they use screens that look like products designed few years ago and then combine it with a price tag suggesting that these are some kind of hi-end devices. The only exception I can think of is Tesla. BTW, few mounts ago I saw a review of Porsche 918. Billion dollar hypercar. State of art design. And multimedia systems that lags like a 7 years old smartphone.
I hanvt seen and use the dash on the dragster yet but what do you really need on those things anyways. I just need easy read info and thats it. How can you make something more beautiful? Does the 1199 have what you consider a beautiful screen? I consider the 1199 screen the best i've seen - nice and bright just missing a fuel counter.
MrPanda415 Something frameless (or close to it) would be nice. Yes, I like Panigale's screen, but I think it would be even better if all dashboard lights were also displayed on screen. Just one, big AMOLED screen. No physical elements around.
I kinda agree with you. Something with a bit of colour, not that grey-green-brown-beige-LCD colour (from Nokia's of old, like my 3210...). A simple black and white like the new Renault Clio's would do, if they didn't do so far as AMOLED (which would be better still). Is it anything to do with reflections and glare? I'm sure I've seen some lovely bike display's though. The old orange glow of dash/displays in older cars are horrific, too, just screams cheap and nasty. I've got an orange bike... and orange hair, but I hate it as a lighting colour i.e. sodium street lights.
Dragster has a shorter rear and more exposed rear tire. There is a German word "KURZ", which means short, it would serve as a great description. So the way I look at it, 800 Dragster is a KURZ 800

That bike looks nasty and makes me feel to have one ... He almost showed all the details ... imo the video as a whole was quite lot better instead of just listening to the sound lol
I'm getting a naked as my next bike, I've been looking at this as a likely option. My question is, i'm 6'3" 100kg, will this bike be too small for me? will I dwarf it and look odd? I've read somewhere that anything over 5'11" is too big. I really hope not. haha.
Bella, non si può dir di meno... però la Diavel mi sembra decisamente più curata nei dettagli... forse sbaglierò ma tutte queste fascette, tubi in gomma serpeggianti e spinotti... non rendono merito al design complessivo ed in particolare al marchio Agusta. E, come altri hanno fatto notare, la strumentazione è dozzinale anche qui il confronto con la Diavel non regge.

Don't change the exhaust of your Mv Agusta please, the factory sound is already amazing, and as far as I know they are tuned to resemble a Ferrari
