U.S. MILITARY Plane Crash in Iceland...

We visit the wreck site of a U.S. military plane crash in Iceland in 1973. The United States Navy DC plane ran out of fuel and crashed on the black beach at Sólheimasandur, in the South Coast of Iceland. Today tourist can take a hike to see this wreckage site.

Crazy that your likes are so high still. I wonder if the views are off. My views seem lower also compared to the prior week. We stayed at the umi hotel and they were saying from the hotel it was like an hour. You guys really did the walk. How many days were you in Iceland for? Tomato soup is a nice touch. Does seem pretty unique. Next time I guess. The weather wasn’t cooperating. I’ll tell ya it doesn’t take much. Sometimes I look to quick in the wrong direction and boom. Ouch. I agree. The water is great! Drank some right from a river. Wife thought I was going to get sick but I was fine. Watch out for the sneaker waves. Portugal is on our list as well. I liked both beaches. Very cool and unique.
