They're actually amazing violinists, as they proved in their last concert for 4million subs... Which makes her even more amazing. She is such a big inspiration for all the young musicians, she's just 15 but she's definitely one of my favorite musicians
You vastly underestimate the difficulty of making the violin not sound like crap.
Yeah lol
I would probably break it first time…
I love the way Brett and Eddy are very respectful of Chloe’s ability and talent and hardwork, but are still playful with her, like big brothers. You can see this better in other videos they do with her.
Thanks for reacting to this one. It's one of my favorite videos, especially the ending. Chloe is an amazing violinist, and always a pleasure to listen to and watch.
Although Chloe-sensei acts like a badass teacher in this episode (I think she was 13 at the time), she is so adorable when she is goofing around with Brett and Eddy like their younger sister in other videos.
Also it is amazing that they are friends with many world class soloist such as Ray Chen, Hillary Haln, and Maxim Vengerov as if they are “twosetviolin family”, Ray is an elder brother, Hillary is an elder sister, and Vengerov is an uncle. They all have wonderful personalities I love all their collabs - from fun game contents to educational contents including masterclasses. Very inspirational yet accessible to everyone.
So waiting for you to do more reaction about them!
Playing the first variation in 3 weeks 🤣! I would love to see you doing that. It's years of practice. If it sounds easy, it's because the violonist is good.
I talked way too much and got ahead of myself 😂
Yessss! We need a Gidi plays the violin series 😂
Oh that would be a disaster 😂
Vibrato- The pitch of a note is made to fluctuate and pulsate to make a richer, warmer sound. On violin there are three types of vibrato: arm vibrato, hand vibrato, and finger vibrato. For arm vibrato, the whole arm vibrates starting at the elbow. For hand vibrato, the whole hand vibrates from the wrist. For finger vibrato, the fingers vibrate more from the knuckles.
Trill- One finger holds a note while another finger rapidly strikes the string and comes back up again very quickly so that two seperate notes get repeated over and over again back and forth quickly and continuously. Trill motion comes from the base of the knuckle of the individual finger(s).
Eddie was supposed to play trills, but I guess his fingers got so tired and lost strength to move. So he started missing the trills and his fingers became weak and "shaky" a la finger vibrato.
Sorry, I feel like this is a terrible explanation, but it's the best I could do for now :D
7:35 sure, you were thinking that too😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chloe actually just turned 16 a few days ago and the fact that she’s about 2 months younger than me doesn’t really help my self esteem 😅 I think she was 13 when this video came out and I don’t think non violinists actually quite understand just how difficult this piece actually is… like of course everyone would notice it’s difficult, but… as a violinist of 9,5 years, I looked at the sheet music and I was like, okay the theme is fine… then looked at the first variation, tried, failed, and gave up 😅 just the fact that Brett and Eddy, who are both incredibly good violinists, have so much trouble playing it shows how hard this piece is
Some guy could practice paganini for whole years and still wouldn't pass the first bar
Chloe's 16th birthday was a couple of weeks ago, on 7 January.
Her first cd (Vivaldi + Locatelli), is out on 10 March and she is also recording a compete set of all five of Mozart's violin concertos, to be released in 2024.
At the end of this month she is performing in LA with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. Then she returns to give four concerts in Singapore in the next two months.
She is an absolute master, and already one of the very best violinists in the world.
When performing, she is incredibly relaxed and charismatic, and she is already a huge star in Singapore, as can be seen from the huge reception she receives when she walks on to the stage at the beginning of her most recent concert.

Yasssss, Chloe Sensei!!!!!! We TwoSetters certainly love her. She's like their baby sister, she's Ling Ling!!! I remember when she won the Menuin in 2018: she was so cute and tiny, and she's 16 years old now! I feel old!!! 😭😭😭😭
P.S: Violinist over here, and believe me: that piece is HARD, but if you practice 40 hours a day anything's possible
Mate, good luck with the Pag. It took me weeks to be able to play an open string with a straight bow without watching in a mirror 😂
To be fair I do like when you pause the videos because I like your comments
You can react to “Chloe Chua Menduin violin competition” search for that. She got joint top prize age 11 or something in the junior category. It’s so impressive seeing her lead the string group.
Violin = most elite instrument 😊❤
Lmaooo you have no idea how hard the chords are to play 😂😂😂
I'm doing fantastic. I'm in very great mood and it's not sarcasm.
That’s what I like to hear unless it was really sarcasm 👀
@@GIDIREACTS It's not. I think...
"I think I could play that"
I've been playing the violin for three years, and Ima say right now, you can't. The first part is easy, and the second part sounds easy, but it's nearly impossible, for me at least. I didn't get past measure 1
Please do more of TSV 😊
Still waiting for the reaction to their 4 million concert. Anyway where are you from if you don't mind me asking?
I’m from Germany and my parents from Ghana 😎
It’s from Paganini 24 Caprices
Chloe is a Godess
You should react to some of Lang Lang’s masterclasses. He did one with Clayton Stephenson you’ll learn a lot
You have to play two notes at once lots .. it’s not so easy.!
No Mozart as you said to me 2 weeks ago🥲
Damn you ain’t been watching my last videos 😔
@@GIDIREACTS woo what,i didn't see that coming,sorry i keep cheking last week so😆😆
Chloe and Twoset have done a few collabs together. She even played a part in their short video and original piece “Fantasia’. They really look up to her as a great violinist and she seems to enjoy their company too. She is such an incredible violinist.
the fact that he is underestimating twoset and he only has 8.8k subs while twoset has 4.32M subs is ridiculous (not hate)
Gidi is Chloe’s assistant coach…
Hey Gidi!
It'd be great if you react to "Chopin - Scherzo in b flat minor, Op. 31" performed by Natalie Schwamova, it's one of the most emotional pieces from Chopin :)
Dvorak 8!
6:30 YOU SAID IT RIGHT FOOTBALL FINALY WTH IS SOCCER BRUHH ITS FOOOOOOOTTTBAAALLLL AND YOUR AMERICAN FOOTBALL SHOULD BE CALLED SOCCER OR AMERICAN FOOTBALL ..... .
You are not worthy of even touching the violin. It’s a lot harder than you think
Go away, tiresome attention seeker
