Lance was always so understated. He reminds me of a parent watching two or more of his kids fight and, rather than jump in (because Lance is not going to jump in), he scolds them. "Tommy, now, come on. There's a place and a time for that and it's in the ring, not out here on the floor. Come on now."
Wildfire was the best bleeder in the business but ya didn't call him out unless you were ready to bleed yourself..What a great time to be a kid growing up in Mempho back then...
Tommy Rich was Jerry Lawler in reverse. Beloved as a Face in NWA Georgia, Continental, and WCW while occasionally a strong Heel in Memphis. Whereas with Lawler until much later in his WWE tenure he was reviled pretty much everywhere except Memphis.🤔😉🎤🤴🎼🎸🤼♂️B.W.
At least Eddie had the courtesy to rip Tommy's suit jacket up so he didn't have to clean the blood off of it LOL. Lance Russell once again showing that he was head and shoulders above everybody else as a commentator.

You see a lot of people didn't see what happened off camera Eddie Gilbert was trying to be really good friends with wildfire but wildfire turned on him but the cameras didn't catch it
I am 50 years old and I love watching these on youtube! Memphis wrestling was so " real" when i was a kid.
Yes it was!
It was REAL!!!

😂😂😂👍🏾
Tommy was and will always be the man
Beautifully crafted heel turn/ face turn.
Rich looks like a million bucks here. It’s no wonder he was so huge in that era.
Love Lance Russell's reactions "come on guys" 😂 Looks like a butcher shop floor in the studio- love these feuds!
Imagine if Eddie lived longer. He would have been such a superstar!
No.He wore his welcome out no matter where he went & the territories were gone & WWF & WCW didn't want him
Not a superstar but a great behind the scenes guy. Booker or agent
I LOVE THESE GREW UP WATCHING MOST OF THESE AND SAW SOME LIVE
Miss the territories.
Me too
I always wondered what was going through Lance Russell's mind standing next to bloody messes like Eddie Gilbert and Tommy Rich.
Wildfire was one helluva talent
A rare very well done double turn.
How many saw the twisting of his real intentions to get Tommy to come out. The guy literally telegraphs it. The legendary Eddie G. So soon....
Tommy wildfire Rich my favorite Wrestler
Lance is the MVP, that face he does when Eddie attacks Tommy Rich.
Tommy rich nwa wrestling
They didn't even have to have the camera on Eddie when he first hit him. It was Lance and the look on his face that told the story.
Yes. Like a disappointed parent, 😂
Wildfire was the best bleeder in the business but ya didn't call him out unless you were ready to bleed yourself..What a great time to be a kid growing up in Mempho back then...
Pedpho.
Wrassling pure gold ..
Nothing against Gordon solie but their was no one better than lance Russell
I agree 💯% with you.
R.I.P Gordon Solie and Lance Russell
EDDIE GILBERT DIED IN PUERTO RICO (USA) IN February 18 1995 IN HIS SLEEP. A GREAT WRESTLER RIP.
Amazing what some facial hair can do
It was unfortunate. Eddie Gilbert was not only Jerry Lawler's greatest foul but also a great wrestling promoter.

Couple of Representatives of Wrestling International Convention..😮😮😮2 Yokels who work at McDonald's we just found yesterday.
eddie looked 18 in 83 to looking 35 just a year later somehow
Cause he was trying to hang with Tommy Rich
Crazy feud. Gilbert and Tommy kept turning on each other.
Who was the good guy ?
Oh yeah!! The good ole days of Hepatitis C!!!
I saw them all live.
Lance had to be the most patient guy on the planet, putting up with all that craziness.

Gene Autry’s suit
Tommy!!!
Promo reminds me of watts/Russian in midsouth
Blading
Gotta See Sum Color ...
The floor needs a good mopping
They should have gotten them better looking trophys. I've seen more impressive looking awards at little league conventions.
Hopefully that wasn’t Rich’s “good” suit.
Eddie was to short in the business
Flair, Rich, Rhodes.
Big bleeders
Big white hair
Jesus, this was Shakespearean haha
Look like to me Eddie made him bleed
Eddie Gilbert looks like a munchkin from the Wizard of Oz
PED-DUH-PHILE munchkin.
Fighting over drugs no doubt
