I LOVE the wolf pack, especially the "callers". And the beaver dam is super, too many civilians are just allowed to destroy beaver dams. It is almost like a return to the days when beavers were hunted nigh to extinction. THEY WERE THERE FIRST. Fantastic little layout, makes my heart yearn for the pre-CVA days.
Stunning diorama. Modelling North Ontario definitely gives your scenes a unique look from all of the other model railroad videos on UA-cam. The animals and attention to detail of their habitats was stellar. The bird and nature sounds make a nice soundscape opposed to the tiresome diesel whine on some videos.
The rail in this model has been beautifully laid - it's so flat and a far cry from the 'bouncy' rails that less professional modellers get by not taking the time (or having the knowledge) to really get the rails flat and in plane with each other. Watch the roof of the carriages in the shot at 1:07 onwards - dead flat and really gives the model a sense of 'weight'.
Beautiful scenery! Nice sound too, although I would like a kind of sensor at the bridge that will generate the thunderous ‘Iron bridge sound ‘ That would make it complete, but maybe chase away the animals…
Such a beautiful small world. Wolves and elks aren't missing, and there are even flashes of lightning. But the worst element to threaten all model railroads is the disastrous DUST !
I’d like to know who made this as a two-rail model. I remember that Maerklin made it as a three rail model, but had no idea anyone made it in two rail. Cool.
Roco had it a few years ago. Sometime they pop up on ebay. At the moment a DC version of the brand new Maerklin train is available from Trix. It's a state of the art model and has nothing to do with the one from 1978
Probably the closest they could come to the Northlander’s soon to be introduced Siemens Charger-Venture train sets. The real train hasn’t run since 2012, but the government of Ontario jumped on the bandwagon of North America’s love for the new Siemens equipment.

Beautiful scenery. Nice work stringing the telegraph wires & the beaver pond is a nice touch.
Doc, those buildings look hand made. Bravo to the constructor.
Thanks, indeed handmade
La forêt est très belle, la bande son est superbe, merci.
A beautiful layout with so much realism in the scenery. It takes great talent and skill to accomplish this masterpiece. 😊
nice...thank you very much for sharing..
The bird sounds give an extra natural and peaceful touch❤
Sound effects are amazing! The nth degree of realism! 👍👍👍

Absolutely beautiful! I wish there was another train, perhaps a freight train running occasionally
Beautiful❤❤❤

Mersi Pilentum! Super model!

Seeing through wooden track ties to nature underneath the crossing bridge @2:02 - was my Highlight for this scale model RR layout

Fantastic. Thank you.
Awesome. Great job!
“The Northlander” had an earlier life as a 1-class only TEE train Zurich-Luxemburg-Brussels-Amsterdam in the Sixties. I remember the Dining Car...

Beautiful! I would like to live there!👍👏🚉
BRAVO 👏
Pequena porem muito bem montada, muitos detalhes com perfeição
Lovely video.😊
そこで生活してる人達の息吹を感じるジオラマですね🚊
soñada!
Superb scenery and sound ! But I got bored with that Northlander.
Nine camera angles of the same section of track. 😎
Makieta naprawdę piękna. Wspaniały krajobraz. (Szkoda że pokazano tak mały jej fragment). 👍 (h).
👌👍👍👍
😍
Knockout
diorama is beautiful, but not the music
