I agree. Someone could of at least contacted the people to explain there was a delay that way the results would not be expected so soon. She should know better than to keep people waiting about something so serious
@@miss_priss4886 yes! A lot of people couldn’t return to work without those results.
She definitely could have communicated better. Also we should take into account that during that time, labs and hospitals were running out of testing materials and some even had to send their test elsewhere to get results which caused major delays. Lisa or whoever leads her lab should have handled the situation better by communicating but we also don't know what all other circumstances were at play. There was another clinic mentioned in the news where they had so many ppl come and get tested that it took them months to complete and send back all the results. That why they were telling ppl to quarantine for two weeks anyway

Let's go back a few episodes because I remember Dr. Simone when is was having problems with her practice because she wasn't up to day with the Medicare/Medicaid payroll system. She was not getting paid because she had to update her system and I remember Dr. Jackie asking her how she let that happen. So Dr. Simone can't throw a stone because is did some mess too.

I worked as a lab scientist in a covid diagnostics lab during the pandemic and it is not something you can just start doing. The potential to give the wrong results to real patients is the main concern. Telling someone who is healthy that they are sick with covid causing unnecessary isolation and stress. Telling someone who is sick that they are ok causing further spread of the virus. Doing thousands of these tests a day requires a large team of qualified biomedical scientists. It is more than "not having the equipment".
