I love that Axis set... the Eflex I completely agree.. I was at a shop and was blown away at how weird it felt on my hand. Closing the Eflex 5 felt like closing a glove that has never closed before..
Thanks for your review, and I have to agree with you. Bought a set of EF5.9, the pads are amazing, the glove is comfy, but closure is really bad even after a week of practice on ice
Thanks for sharing your feedback. I'd check out this video if you haven't already for trying to break the CCM 600 gloves in: ua-cam.com/video/-cQg1NZuwEY/v-deo.html
@@HockeyReviews i’ve tried baking and putting my axis game ready 600 in water but after 5 months i still can’t close it. bauer’s new hyperlite line is 10 times better.
I had a set of eflex 4.9s and I hated the glove with a passion. Took forever to break in at home and even still the closure was really bad. I upgraded to ultrasonics with a vapor 2x glove skinned as ultrasonic and the closure is basically perfect with minimal break in
Ive got a eflex 5 custom set, and i agree with the graphic , its really hard to make it look good. And even when i matched the lines, they basically faced the wrong way. But i have to disagree with the closure. I have a pro palm and ive used it on ice a few times while also doing stuff to it at home and it closes great
The reason I put the video of my Eflex 4 pro palm was to show off how much better that glove was compared to this one. I am confident you can break this thing in to be much better than what is off the shelf. But my point of criticizing it, is that CCM has a long way to go to make these decent off the shelf for potential buyers compared to all of the competition.
Agreed that the graphic is very lacking and that it's not remotely game-ready. I also really feel like the EF5 glove puts the wrist at a bad angle that affects closure ability.
I am pretty offended that someone thinks that way, but it doesn't really surprise me with the internet. The Eflex 5 game ready was worse out of the box than my Eflex 4 Pro Palm, my Premier 2 Pro Palm, and all other brand's pro palms I have worn in the past 8 years. "Game Ready" is supposed to mean exactly what it says, and the Eflex 5 wasn't even close.

I have this glove but I don’t know how to break it in any tips? I already tried a lot of things
Have you tried this? ua-cam.com/video/-cQg1NZuwEY/v-deo.html
CCM 600 gloves were notoriously bad though and hard to break in and use.
@@HockeyReviews I tried this multiple times already and it still didn’t work. I’m starting to regret buying this glove.. thanks for the reply tho

Why is the CCM graphic upside down on the glove? That looks so bad.
There isn't really anything good about the Eflex 5 catching glove graphic 😂
Can you get a custom graphic on the Ccm eflex 5?
Not at the retail level
I know why the vapor and this glove don’t close that well, this break is absolute garbage
At this point I’m assuming you’re taking the Trav approach and giving bad reviews for clicks. Any glove requires break in, CCM isn’t different

CCM gloves are subpar in terms of quality and "feel" compared to other brands. Are you from CCM?
it’s not a game ready palm it’s a practice palm
Closure of a practice palm without the protection of one 😂
