People buy blindly foreign lipstick.. like Huda, Mac... those are overpriced and tho they are best seller..
But if someone from India bring good thing pple are complaining bcz of d Price range..
For me "if product is good I m ready to buy in high price"
Bcz I try things in low price..but those are really cheap in quality..
I regret buying many products/things which are lower in price.

I am not a regular make up person but my career path did urge me to learn about minimal make up which I started during lockdown times. And then, I realised am a lipstick lover too and like to have the basic shades for sure. To be honest, i think this is a very good quality mid range brand - which is what they seem to be going for. It looks like the finish & quality can compete with lipsticks i have that are twice the cost

The best thing about the video was when you requested your viewers to support our own Indian brands. Btw all the shades looked gorgeous on you.
I used their lip crayons in shade climax, tbh it accentuates my lip cracks, but pigmentation is good and it is matte. But the color looks dark on outside but is a shade or two lighter in actual. I am nc46 and climax washed me out. Body shop liquid lipstick even though its so old but the formula is so amazing and the pigmentation and the wand is sooooo good that it gives my lips the best shape without any effort, only thing is it is not much tranfer proof. And another lovely matte crayon is from faces canada pro timeHD. It is just amazing.
The review is really good but my only problem with the video is the lighting. Specially for someone with dark skin tone who is trying to understand which colors work best for them by looking at the video. It’s hard to gauge how it would look in bright day light, especially the lighter shades. Darker skin tones struggle too much when finding perfects nude shades for themselves. And these videos are really good reference points and so it becomes necessary how the shade looks in bright light as well. Already there are very few UA-camrs with dark Indian skin tones doing great reviews like these.

Loved Dialogue, Box office, Retro, Thriller and suspense on you. When I will be trying this lipsticks, I might love to have Dialogue for myself❤
I would have preferred if you had compared the texture or pigmentation to any other lipstick which is already in the market, that would have given us better idea of the product. Do consider doing so in future unless of course there are statutory restrictions to it.
Second..my favourite shades are box office, dialogue...nice review...swatches are really helpful..👍👍👍

From the swatches i could say it is not that pigmented . Most of the colours, the difference of pigmentation on her upper and lower lip peeks through the lipstick. Am I correct?

It's hard to find the brown shades with yellow undertone like "Maybelline Fighter and Nykaa Jane" in good quality matte bullet lipsticks.

They are different formulas but ya maybe i can compare them in a video

Definitely Color bar sinful matte is a different formula and best one in luxury drug store range.

@@tanyapatil1993 this is my pt of view - the shade range in Colorbar is wide and formulation is top class, something i haven't seen in other brands like Maybelline and Faces Canada (i have a decent collection from various brands). I somehow feel Kay might fall short of beating the benchmark set by CB and hence not excited for it! In b/w I'm now 👁 for MAC - Twig and Corset or Unspeakable from CB.
Loving this background...there r so many books...😍but I feel lighting is not that good...it is a bit pricey...but good to see a matte matte lipstick...box office...dialogue and retro r my favourites...maybe will get them in sale...anyhow..background music is too good too...🤩💫

First of all i would really acknowledge the fact that your video and editing game is now on the next level altogether. I can actually see the hard work and immense creativity being put into this video...that little GIF of 'subscribe button' in the starting of the video as well as in between the video is so cute and it actually stands out. Obviously not to forget the fresh boost of background music in your video(s) of which i have always been a big fan is outstanding yet again.

Aparna, I am watching this video after an year of uploading. I couldn't help but comment this. I think your foundation shade here is a little darker than your actual complexion. But I totally love it. I even have heard you comment in some videos that you like little bit tanner look. I wish I could pull that off too. I have lot of foundations which are little darker which I bought mistakenly. But they only end up looking muddy on my face 😁. I think I have the same skin tone as you, but I have lots of faded acne marks, so my skin doesn't look as vibrant healthy as yours. If you have any ideas about making a darker foundation work for you, I think you should go for it.

I love your videos and reviews, however just one thing I would like to add, please work on your lighting, as at times it looks very white especially when you sit beside the window, and in this video it is very dark, the lip shades are not properly visible and at times looks different. Light is the main element when you make such videos. Please don't mind me saying this, I really like your videos hence I thought I should highlight this..Sorry if I have made you feel otherwise, you do a great job though. Love you
