I am a long time Jamiroquai's fan and never heard that song. This is incredible I missed it. An absolute Master Piece. A sweet cosmic-letro-funk realization with something remembering the best base-line of orly 80". Love it Jay. Well done as ususal.
Boris Hueni Jamiroquai is one of those bands that just keeps giving. Every time you think you’ve heard everything, there’s tons of songs you’ve never heard before.
I'm sad I didn't hear this song until now. If only he released his exclusive songs on streaming services like Spotify. Hang It Over is also a song I absolutely love in RDLS, but it's exclusive to the deluxe version, and that's not available for me on Spotify.
I recently receive the Japan edition of this great album, that i bought on eBay...words are not needed! Simply amazing! But, why Japan always get the better editions??? If i want to pay a little bit more, for a deluxe version, why i must to buy it in other countries? maybe i will never understand......
I just can' t stop listening this track, but first time it didn' t work, just need to be listened two times before have good vibes, after you' r addict, so i am
Great pop song, very modern-sounding, yet retro 80s. Parts of it remind me of Madonna's "Borderline". Something about it. The tempo, the bassline, something...
@TheMoonshinenight I agree! It's a strange thing lol, this and smile should have been released as singles instead of white knuckle ride and blue skies!
.....more and more of Karl Wallinger has snuck into Jay's sound since 2000; this DEFINITELY evokes "Here Comes The Future", from World Party's album Dumbing Up (but by NO means a BAD thing, either.....)
10 years or 87600 hours late I answer that it's a pretty common thing to do in Japanese album releases, basically as a way to say "Hey, there's more songs, buy our things".
Wish I had known about this extra track that was exclusive to the Japanese version of this album. Would have bought it instead. Checked out the price of it through Am***n of Japan and it would cost nearly $31 (US). Not worth it for just this one extra song... as much as I do enjoy it.

The band got special songs for different markets. Really bad thing to do.
What make me smile is to admit that Jamiroquai is probably de most significative contribution to the funk music ever. Who made better sincerly?
I like it very much. Rock Dust should have included more of that funky tunes.
still listening to that amazing song !

the electro Acid Jazz Funk of Jamiroquai o yea.
The track is also on the Canadian release. So far, Japan has the only CD available with all the deluxe bonus tracks and this one.
Your comment says you don't like this song... fix that freaking mistake. Truly a masterpiece.

jamiroquai jsou supeeeer ;) chtěla bych je slyšet aj naživo :)
This and 'Smile' are the best tracks from the entire RDLS campaign and a real shame they're not on the standard album...!
Great pop song, very modern-sounding, yet retro 80s. Parts of it remind me of Madonna's "Borderline". Something about it. The tempo, the bassline, something...

Hello Джейсон, а клип есть на эту песню?
The song's name is "Music is not the funk i want" that is precisely why they put electronic more than funk lol.
it sounds just like reptiles flying
Wow! this should have been on the album. I love half the album but not so hot for half of it. More funk!!!

10 years or 87600 hours late I answer that it's a pretty common thing to do in Japanese album releases, basically as a way to say "Hey, there's more songs, buy our things".

It's only a different Jamiroquai
What The Funk?!
Мне нужно вернуться во времени на зад, когда мне было 28 лет.
well, it's really not the funk i want... miss old jamiroquai:/
kinda sounds like a car commercial. parts of it are cool though
Romulus
Yes, a Lamborguini J commercial
Одну хитовую оставляю, остальные надо переработать. Лишнее подтерла
really weird...that's not the funk i want... :)
Those bonus tracks are way better than the whole european version of this album.
