Neurostimulation & Brain Behaviour with Dr Aron Hill

neurocare’s Dr Trevor Brown sits down with neurostimulation expert Dr Aron Hill, to uncover insights in neurobiology and the effects of brain stimulation.
Dr Hill’s work is interested in understanding neural circuits linked to cognitive dysfunction and atypical neural plasticity within psychiatric disorders. Together with his research team, Dr Hill has explored the effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS), as well as Electrical Stimulation (tES), whilst observing brain activity through EEG. The two neuroscientists discuss key brain-behaviour relationships leading to novel diagnostic markers in psychiatry.
Dr Hill completed his PhD in neuroscience at Monash University in 2018 and pursued postdoctoral work at prominent research institutions, including the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre in Melbourne and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health at the University of Toronto, Canada. He is an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Cognitive Neuroscience Unit, School of Psychology, Deakin University.
