A subscriber DM'ed me saying he has a Matured Male Avicularia metallica for my female, so I told him to send him over. He then tossed in a free Blue Fang tarantula in the package as well, saying it's for the one that passed away a while back.

Hey yo! The t he sent to breed is the most beautiful and largest of the morphs it’s an M2 in this genus and commonly is a little larger with purple undertones and golden bands. That’s awesome!!!

Yes, Avic Metallica are actually Avic Avic M6. They aren’t even called Metallicas anymore.

Avicularia Tarantulas have some morphotypes. I own Avicularia Juruensis M2, but there's M1 for them, they differ a bit, but you can still bread them, but better keep morphotypes clear, so pair M1 with M1, m2 with m2 etc. Hope it helps!
So I'm assuming it's the same as any other morph breeding for color
@@paulheyn4423 yep, they differ mostly by color. For example, one morphotype can have deeper metallic color, another can have a shade of dark green or blue or even violet, but only a shade. You still can breed between morphotypes, but better keep colors by that particular morphotype and breed respectively

Don't avics pair like normal you introduce the male to the female and then remove him? And wouldn't you want to give the new male time to acclimate in his new enclosure before moving him to a female?

I think he's mentioned in earlier videos that they're just simple candle-holders.
You could also look up dampen dishes (people who do nails use those) or acrylic nail dishes, they look the same

I've been having problems with my Tarantulas getting little to active at
night and flipping over my lids that i use for their water. Something more heavy will work perfectly ill definitely have to look them up and see about ordering a dozen.

Yeah, Avics got kinda fucked with recently. Most "species" are now just morphotypes, I usually see them listed as "Avic cf. "colorform name"" as opposed to any actual species outside of like, minatrix, purpurea etc.
