To be honest, I really like extramarital affairs. As a bachelor, I would say that extramarital affairs should be legalized. Currently I'm in a relationship for 2 years with a girl who has a boyfriend and she will marry her boyfriend next year. But I'll try my best to make out with her and give her the first child. Hopefully her current boyfriend won't notice anything.

Bollywood and media is the main reason... but it's also due to forced arranged marriages these days in some cases... Unfortunately, indian parents care more about society rather than their child's happiness.

Forced marriages absolutely is not the issue. Countries with love marriages create majority of social problems and weak families. The bs that is being fed to us that love marriage is good but arranged is bad, is a failed western concept. Your parents look for a good partner both character and status over you looking at only looks. Ultimately almost everyone I know who has had an arranged marriages always had a choice, only selection was done by parents.
Let me show some facts now. Love marriages are more unsuccessful than arrange marriage
It is a very small percentage of cases, majority of divorces are done in so called 'Progressive' Love marriages itself🙂

Divorce is hard in India but extramarital affaire is little better
Learning the true meaning of bonds and friendship, learning how to maintain them and sort out conflicts is the key, taking time to make final commitment and dealing maturely helps to healthify relationships. Not just between husband-wife, but other relations too.
Some people who are unable set their own home always tend to destroy other's. Lack of moral value and conscience, also lack of attachment between the married couples are the main reason.

Supreme court saved men bro. Earlier adultery was punishable for only women. Then petition was filed before Supreme Court to either make it punishable for both men and women or make it not punishable for women as well like men. Then Supreme court made it not punishable for women like men but can be a reason for divorce.
First go and read the Supreme Court judgment then comment... The law on adultery earlier made the wife the "property" of the husband.
