I started cooking for my elderly aunt, and she likes good food, Martha Stewart is the only person that actually explains how to cook with all the details. Most people are just making a video to make money, but she is a detail person
*What a wonderful array of items this Saturday night❣️ I enjoyed "storyline" so much this evening. FYI, Jami: Towle Silver Company is pronounced "Toll" - 😉*
I have learned so much from you guys. Thank you! FYI a tin type is always on metal. Silvering is actually considered a defect cuz once it starts it doesn’t stop. Can’t wait for your next video!
😅Oh dear, time for a hearing aid? I was giggling at Jami giggling. Then I heard her say they were fondling at an estate sale. Lost it. Rewind, bundling.😅
Wow, so your relatives came from Sweden and chose Utah to settle. Was there a reason that they went all the way to Utah? I mean during the mid 1800s that area was very sparsely populated. Great family story. Sorry I didn't see this live. Since I'm in Ohio, it doesn't come on till 10:30. And that is way past my bedtime.
They joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and they came to Utah to be with the members here and practice their faith. Many pioneers came here for that reason. They took a boat to the US the walked or used handcarts and wagons to get to Utah.
@@JamiRayVintage Well that makes sense . I just know that during that time that the church was moving from east to west and I thought they were in places such as Ohio and Missouri before they settled in Utah. So that's why I was asking that question. I didn't realize that there were people from the faith already settling in Utah. Great story. And you have a memento of an earlier time of your family's settlement.
@@denisehaddix6646 they were in Ohio and Missouri and as the mobs came they moved to Utah. Here is a link to his great great grandpa. It’s kind of cool you can see his headstone and their home on lehi Main Street that still stands www.findagrave.com/memorial/95079/anders-peterson/photo
@@JamiRayVintage Well thank you for that! I'm going to read it. And yes I know that you all were persecuted in New York, Ohio, Missouri until you got to Utah. Unfortunate. Because everybody came to the new world for religious freedom.
My husband's great grandparents joined the church in Sweden but were kicked out of the family. They settled in Ogden UT where they are buried. His great grandfather helped to build the SLC Temple.
