Hey connor. I’m Andre I texted you back in 2020 talking about going to uni in the uk. So an update in my career I stayed here and got with the reserves of my hometown club, got promoted and trained with the first team for a couple of months. I got released and 2023 was a hard year as a free agent. And I finally got a new team in the 3rd tier and I’m happy to start the season in June. Your videos always help and I really like your play style and you serve as an inspiration since we are the same height haha.

Nice video i was watching one of your older distribution tutorials and would you recommend the half volley as a good distribution technique when playing on bobbly pitches rather than flat astros?
It's personal preference, but it can be more difficult to do the half volley on a bobbly pitch, because you can't always trust the bounce of the ball!
@@ConorOKeefe what would you do instead of half volley for longer kicks as you said in the tutorial that side volleys are for two thirds of pitch
Hi Connor, just wondering how you wear your whoop when training without it breaking when you dive.
I wear it in an arm band up on the top of my arm, works well up there and I don't land on it!

I've been following you for a while now, and I am a goalkeeper myself. But I have a question. what is your position in the goal, if the opponent crosses a ball, is it more likely to be at the near post or in the center of the goal? Keep up the good work and I love your content
Depends where the cross is coming from! If it's out wide, I would be closer to the centre of my goal, with my body on a 45 degree angle. But if they are inside the box/looking for a cut back, I would be more towards my front post, just like the training drill in this video!

Hi mate - it's a long process full of many aspects! Train hard and improve all the time, learn from others, play lots of games and perform well on the pitch, build your network and contacts, and overall keep progressing!

I am a sixteen year old Italian goalkeeper, I would like to get to Serie C or Serie D when I grow up... but during this journey I don't know what to do to put some money aside and I don't know what job I could do in conjunction with football ... could you give me some advice? Thanks in advance
Hi mate - it's a great question, and a good thing to think about. It's important if you are playing in the lower leagues to have another income. Studying is a good option, gaining some qualifications to help you in the job search later on. Otherwise, have a think what you enjoy/are interested in apart from football - I enjoyed business, and studied it, and used those skills to build a UA-cam channel/set up my own business with the GK Training Programmes - that has helped massively alongside my football!

Not at all! Lots of Goalkeepers are 193. Watch them, learn how they move/use their height, and keep training/improving!
