Starscream. The Decepticons air commander and Megatron’s second-in-command. A cowardly and crafty self-serving adversary. Don’t turn your back on Starscream. Unless you want to find something sharp buried in him.
Thank you for making me understand the transformation! A lot of other reviews moan and complain instead of helping the viewer. I dont care how you feel about the process just get it done. You sir got the job done.
I had mine for several days already. At first the teansformation was very challenging (especially when you're trying your best not to scratch up the paint) but now the transformation actually feels smooth and not hard for me. It's not beginner/new user friendly in that the transformation requires to proceed in certain orders with parts only coordinating with you exactly how the designer intends. But once you discover the sequence, how to make space, where to put force it's not as challenging as some other transformation out there (yeah strong transform element vibes)
Agreed, I still think the squishing together of the jet is not a natural sequence that lends well to filming, it needs to be done just sitting on a couch or doing it in your lap
Mine arrived yesterday! So happy with it. It looks and feels phenomenal. Took a lot of time and patience to transform but your video really helped. Pre ordered skywarp and thundercracker this morning! 😊
Great video tm. I'm gonna call it ds crimson wing is taking the w in your vs video. Sculpt, articulation, build, alt mode and price are pretty much guaranteed. You're right about size being in the eye of the beholder. DS starscream is closer in size to the toon while hastak is closer to the sun bow chart.
I got mine in on the 16th and i love how he scales with Megatron yes he's taller than your standard seeker but he is half a head shorter than Megatron. When the inevitable announcement for their Skywarp & Thundercracker happens i'm pre-ordering both of them
I have to measure again but I could swear DS-01 was a head shorter than Megatron. RP-01 Acoustic Wave was a half a head shorter than MP-36 that I rmemeber, and MP-52 was like a head and a half shorter. I think the DS-01 Crimson Wings is in that safe spot in regards to height. Hopefully you for your pre order in for both. Thundercracker is available now so I'm expecting it in a couple of weeks hopefully!
I bought MP-52 and it’s great, but when you consider price, I think this Deformation Space wins by a nose. The red hinges on the back, the broken up canopy on the underside in jet mode, and the split canopy/chest in robot mode bother me, but it cleans up a little better than MP-52 in the lower legs. If Deformation makes a Skywarp, I’m definitely in for that.
I hear you, and I feel like I should totally agree but Takara’s got that special sauce that I apparently like. While the build of the DS is unquestionably superior I can’t help but find myself just wanting the solid build and possibly the size but the Takara look is what makes me happy. It’s subtle, but it’s a thing.
Great review 🌟😎.. I didn't enjoy transforming this thing but overall it's very nice. Seems like it scales with Megatron and not with the other Decepticons.
Yes, yes he is. The transformation is tough, but it gets much easier the more you do it. Both modes look great and the robot mode in particular looks like it jumped right out of the animated show. He’s also at least twice as heavy as MP-52.
I have both and I really think MP 52 is a little easier to transform also has more features. While DS -01 has exactly the same features just taller and less paint. Witch I do prefer the less glossy painted Face but MP 52 is still better overall

PLUS You just can't beat that Price Point I ordered him & am looking forward to receiving him, curious as to a comparison with - Maketoys & of Course MP 52 as well as the KO version, which I am leaning towards as well. The extra thigh joints are there to have him be able to do landing poses better. Honestly this looks like something Fanstoys would make, just minus red shiny paint and has way more articulation than Fanstoys ever would. Oh and it’s half the price Fanstoys would charge lol.
Got mine a week ago. Still need to transform it. It’s quality is well above Takaras (i have and love that one as well). Going forward I need to decide on whether to cancel skywarp & T.C. and just wait for more D S’s versions
