I love how dad (the big silverback) is demonstrating his brute strength, banging and running. He is warning everyone about what he will do to protect his family.
I'm rather hoping this sweet new baby will grow up to be a lot like ADORABLE Gorilla brothers, young Lope, & his little brother, Shufai... (TWYCROSS Zoo/England) These boys are ALWAYS cheerful & on the move, & spend their days engaging each other in enthusiastic *PLAY* with some "friendly" wrestling, play biting & chasing each other, throwing themselves down on the ground to roll down hills, etc., etc...& Lope also loves "drumming," on things like the top of his Gramma's head... (When she's sitting down & he can actually reach it...) *: )*
this was a great video. I especially enjoyed the talk by the gentleman (the head keeper?) at the end. It was very informative. I hope you post lots of videos of the little baby so we can follow his progress ! Thank you !! :-)
So Sad. No respect whatsoever for these creatures that have all the feelings we do. No different than if we had to live in a bowl and live like that. Who there keeps making those banging noises? Have you ZERO compassion at all? You can tell by the movements of the gorillas that they even "feel" caged in. Again, so sad.

She doesn't want to be too exposed to the cameras so she keeps moving around to block herself and her little boy.

What was the BANG @1:09 ??
Someone needs to learn how to work a camera.
Who ever controlled the camera made me dizzy.
What was that bang? Then it seemed food flew everywhere ...

It's the father that is making the banging noises. He is warning all the humans about what he will do to protect his newborn child.
