What a marvelous interpretation on highest artistic level (also piano!!). The 2nd movement is most impressive, never heard it being played with so much tenderness of Sound. Thank you!
Nice performance..I liked ginette neveu's interpret more than this one..too much energy is put in this performance which isn't required at all for such a "sentimental" sonata.
Go to like... 1st grade to learn how immature this type of thinking is. I understand there are different styles, and there are inappropriate ways to play certain repertoire. However, this performance is definitely not a case of that. Expecting modern musicians (and particularly musicians from an entirely different continent) to play the same way as 80 year old European musicians is not the claim to musical knowledge or mastery that you think it is. Also it would be pretty boring if everyone played the same way for the sake of supposedly "authentic" interpretations.
