It's been a long time since I played this and it's great to see the colored pulse when a new building has no houses attached to it. Super helpful!
I totally agree! Definitely one of those quality of life things that makes the game so much more accessible. It's extremely useful to my colourblind friends and fans too, as the colours can look similar depending on the map and colour options.
That last flip of reds you made at 34:24 ended up heading to the northwest red location instead of the central one--so weird how the mechanics work when close destinations are far superior...
At 10:10 you added the city's most useless bridge and it stayed there the entire game! XD
I love all the challenge mode maps and think you'll have fun with them. Looking forward to seeing them all!

Honestly, this one was pretty clean! Not a lot of stress, but the double destinations were definitely difficult to handle.
You had a useless bridge on the left for half of the game on the gray/green line, just move the road one tile and you had a bridge!
Shifting it left one tile to reclaim the bridge would have made the house adjacent to the bridge not within one tile, so all cars travelling past it would have had to slow down at the intersection! I agree that it would have been better, but I don't agree that it was useless... though if I had seen in when I was looking for the second bridge near the end, it would have saved me from a precarious position at least once! Good catch!
This is a man on a mission... some of these challenges are actually really difficult... but they are super fun too, mixed feelings =.=

I'm curious to see what the game looks like with the view already expanded.
I mean, the gameplay stays the same, but instead seing the view expand at the same pace as the city, I want to see how small the city is in comparison with the full expanded view.

Your mistake was connecting all the red double destinations together instead of segregating them, it created a huge mess with red cars going all over. I got 3546 on this one so i beat your score.

Friendly reminder, small suggestion on the dotted pattern of the "Highways" placeholder. Instead of initially connecting all the line, try placing them adjacently, but not connected(to connect 2 seperate roads, you need 1 more road). I hope this will help you with either having no roads, or having things spawn in between the road, almost ruining all the "line"
Bruh! I've missed my Retro Mini Motorways! was starting to worry.
I'm not going to bring up the useless bridge, but at 11:31 you had that yellow double spawn. I think it might have helped to move the gray/green line 1 to the left so the yellow (eventually the yellow/blue) double wasn't connected. I think there was cross contamination via that building. Looking forward to your challenge series. I cant wait to see you try Rapid growth in Dubai. I'm 7th currently, but that was my first time in the Top Ten on a challenge.
Everyone keeps mentioning the useless bridge, I'm starting to think that it's a problem lol. The 11:31 spawn could definitely have been handled better though, yeah! It wouldn't have been difficult to rejig and would have otherwise given a good amount of flexibility moving into the future.
Will try my best on Dubai, sounds like a fun challenge! See you on the leaderboard ;)

Been a long while! The game audio was specially loud in this video, but it really feels like "old school Retroflux" with the minmaxing and the game lagging because there are too many cars and the bug ruining the run lol Full of classics, this one!
P.S.: glad to see I'm not the only one who hates the Beijing map.
I've been having game audio issues for a couple videos now, I was hoping nobody would notice LOL but yeah, I've got a couple videos that are still in the pipe that were affected, but after that I'll have time to figure out what knob got turned or setting got messed up. :) Glad to see you again, hope you enjoyed!
@@Retroflux I think it might still just be my device, but it seems the audio and video aren’t synced in this video either. I noticed that your words don’t seem to match to when you’re actually doing what you’re talking about, and the sound of “clicks” and erasing road tiles, etc. don’t match up to when your mouse seems to perform those actions.
@@Retroflux Which I bring up to say I had an issue with the audio in general, not just the game audio.
Don’t have a bridge? Use the wonky white lines bridge that’s not needed. 24:25 disconnect the yellows that was actually connected
