I ma not much of a makeup junkie now but BACK WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE, I loved the art of it. As in, its not even how i looked after, its how the process MADE ME FEEL. But I didnt know the techniques, a proper shade of foundation or any tricks really. This was back in 2013 and there wasnt much representation of POC women on the mainstream or the internet and I slowly stopped using makeup. I dont feel the need to go back to it but I am SO SO GLAD girls now have so many people to look up to and learn from. Thank you for encouraging others and making them feel more secure about themselves and also educating everyone on the importance of self-care.:)

My god! Thank you! I have been telling people about this forever!!! It's the lighting..and ring light is something every youtuber uses. They dont look like that in real life. All pictures are filtered. If they it's not filtered it's probably a good camera. I look like a different person with flawless skin when i take pictures on i phone. I dont look like that real life. Nobody does. Not celebrities. Not youtubers.!! Wake up people!
you can retry repressing the Maybelline highlighter using some colorless medicinal alcohol - crush the powder, mix the alcohol, press with a napkin, and then let it air dry. i've saved a few eyeshadows this way
Thank you Shalini di for making this video I’m 15 and have a lot of acne and skin texture. I used to watch makeup tutorials thinking that my skin will become smooth and even after applying makeup. Being desperate I started experimenting with my mom’s makeup cuz I didn’t have makeup products except tinted powder and 2 shades of lipsticks. Every time I tried to follow any tutorial I used to get mad at myself for not being able to make my skin flawless and airbrushed like the people in the tutorials did and also used to feel ugly. Thank you for making this video it helps people like me lysm 💛
If you have a lot of acne then maybe you should put makeup on hold. Because makeup can aggravate acne. Take care of your skin and it will clear out by the time you are 20 or above. 15 year old look too old with full face of makeup. Older people look younger with it.
